Campbell has a huge buyout - $9M+

If we whiff or Moos takes his time “evaluating” frost he will likely go to UF. Riley needs to be axed now.

I think Chip Kelly would be a good hire from a coaching perspective (for in game performance) - but I doubt he would agree to do it. Mainly because of recruiting (the gap to PSU, OSU and Michigan in particular) - he is not going to agree to coach anywhere as 4th fiddle IMHO.

Only thing I worry about with chip is Ive heard he doesn't like recruiting
No one likes to recruit. Would you like flying all over the place to go talk to 16 to 18 year old boys and their parents? Trying to sell them on their school? No one wants to do that. They do that cause its part of the job. Jimmy Harbaugh hates it but he does it because he wants to turn Michigan into a winner

We need Buffett to buy the patriots from craft and bring on dark hoodie emperor billacheck to rebuild our great program to Never seen before heights.

Buffet you claim to be a husker fan but put your money just a couple billion towards the kids at Nebraska

We need you now

The point is if he was successful at NU how long before he would jump back into the pros and be done with recruiting.

Since Devaney, first time head coaches with some Nebraska affiliation have a winning percentages of .767. Experienced head coaches from the outside have managed a .546 percentage. History points toward Frost as number one

Nebraska affiliates started with an intact program.

I'm guessing Chip Kelly is the pie in the sky pick. Then Frost. Kelly is available and Moos knows him.

How could fans ever be understood? Most Iowa fans were sure Stoops would be the next coach after Fry retired. Why would he take the Iowa job over Oklahoma. I now see Nebraska fans thinking that he would leave Oklahoma for the Nebraska job. All fan bases get carried away with the importance of the job.
