I'm glad the coach used him effectively this year, but from a pure running ability standpoint, it's pretty clear that Kylin is one of the very best to play at State. The offense didn't "produce" Kylin.

You are giving Moorhead too much credit I think. Kylin was so special he found success despite an unbalanced offense that disappeared against quality opponents. The only thing Joe gets credit for is force feeding Kylin which he did not do last year.

Hot take, but I don't think it matters too much. The tailback is at the mercy of the offensive line, and even with Hill we went 6-6 against an easier schedule this year. I didn't want to think about life post-Norwood or post-Dixon either, but those worked out.

I think Hill will probably come back, but I get it if he doesn't, shelf lives for tailbacks aren't very long. I'm near certain that Gay and Thompson will return, probably even Dantzler.
