The university just announced that Joe Moorhead's contract had been extended. I find this troubling given the fact that last season was mediocre at best, and a failure at worst. I haven't seen anything from him thus far that would justify the extension. As far as I know, the amount that he will be paid hasn't been announced. He probably received a raise, but he definitely doesn't deserve one.

8 wins is NOT a failure at MSU. It's not even close.

There is a reason why you are not an athletic director. There is a reason the closest you will ever get to making decisions for an athletic department is bitching on a message board

Leave the important business to the people who know what they are talking about

I know that historically in your posts you are an apologist for poor coaching and seem to accept that as the norm. However, I believe the team should have been much better last season than it was. Nothing that Moorhead has done since he arrived on campus makes me believe that the program will do anything other than regress under his leadership.

Again there is a reason nobody important cares about what you believe. We have people in place that understands this better than you. Luckily they are making the decisions.

Thank God you’re not our athletic director. Lolz at any of our fans who think like this. 8 wins at MSU as a first year head football coach is a success. It’s 10 wins if we catch 2 more balls. Some of y’all are really out of touch with reality around here. Don’t forget who we are and where we’ve been before.

Why is this so hard for some people to understand. Moorhead can't catch the pass..players do.

I love how elitedawgs merges threads that are the same. I wish the mods here did the same.

Having said that, what if AU doesn't fumble at the goal line? What if Stidham can hit a wide open receiver for a TD. You can't play that game about 2 passes.

Every off-season MSU must either extend the head coach in basketball & football to the maximum term or terminate that individual, otherwise the coach cannot recruit because the recruits know that the University is not committed to the coach. It is all about the details of the contract extension like the buyout for both parties. These details usually get leaked over time.

Then they win more games. Just like if we catch 2 more balls we win two more games. That isn’t really an opinion. It’s a fact.
