How the hell is Matt Luke #17? He’s practically been fired since mid-September.

I doubt the national media would have much more that 30 seconds on such a topic. And they wouldn't know quite how to react, anyway. In all likelihood the conversation would be deflected to something along the lines of "That's the challenge of coaching in the SEC and competing against Nick Saban, etc. etc.."

Also, odds are 3-1 that we'd be referenced as being located in Oxford by half of them...

I can't imagine him being fired solely on wins and loses after one poor season. Has anyone actually reported him being on the hot seat?

Moorhead took over a good program that was on an upward swing and has crashed it in two years. How far do you think the program should fall before a change is made? Do we have to get Arkansas, Tennessee, or Vandy bad? Oops we are already Tennessee bad. How much worse do you want it to get? Would a loss to Arkansas convince you?

This started in 2018. That Kentucky game changed a lot of minds. The canary in the coal mine. The offensive guru couldn't get his offense to work with the most talented offensive unit we've had since 2014. 2019 has answered the question "Why were we so inept on offense last season?" Answer: Joe Moorhead.

Sometimes I wonder if even losing the rest of the way out would be enough to convince some people.

Pretty impressive to work his way all the way up to #1 in only 20 games at a school that historically has reasonable expectations of a head coach.

You are a loser if you're assuming people are stupid or trolling for not wanting a coach to be fired. Not everyone that is on here has their week ruined if a group of 20 something year olds don't block, kick, throw, catch, tackle better than another group of 20 year olds.

You could not have convinced me of that this past off season but I think if we were to let him go the media would use words like “understably” or “expectedly”.

Not saying Moorehead shouldn't be fired just not sure where you get that last year's offense was so talented.

Luke and Morris have to be ahead of JoMo

at least at this point in the season. We'll see where we're at in another 5 weeks.

I think when people say Moorhead isn't going to be fired they are speaking realistically in saying Cohen ain't gonna fire him. Are they saying he is being successful ? No. Nobody on this Forum has the credentials to make the decision on when MSU fires a coach, or if they do, who they replace them with. This is a bunch of Monday morning quarterbacks second guessing every move that is made by this athletic department. The sad part is you all think any of our opinions actually matter.

When game attendance plummets, season tickets sales drastically drop, and contributions to the Bulldog Club dry up, you will see how much our opinions matter!

The fans (collectively) actually have more say so than Cohen about Moorhead. Cohen will do as he is told by his employers.

So you don't give a ****, got it. Some of us invest a lot of $$$$$ & time & expect better returns on our investments. We are all Mississippi State and we're tired of being embarrassed by Joe "my offense only works up North" Moorhead. My week is going great.
