Diehard, I just got back from checking out THR (the first time I've been over there in probably 7 months or so), and it appears they're very happy for us 'cause Moore sucks big time and they're glad he didn't commit to the Heels. I guess we'll just have to be content with a subpar player. Gotta love those Heel fans!

Yea UNCheat really doesn't need a guy who has a great midrange fadeaway jumpshot. nice shot blocker, good passer and hits the 3 ball fairly well too. I mean hell, who needs that? I like Moore a lot.
Wendell Moore didn't meet UNC's Academic standards (Wendell has a 4.0 GPA). He was over qualified, therefore, Roy had to turn him down.
Wendell is a very nice all-around player. I see him as the rare top hs recruit who doesn’t necessarily project as a high NBA draft pick. He’s an elite level role player, rather than a leading man. He’s kind of similar to Justise or Gary in that way.

We said those exact things about Tyus, Winslow, and Luke Kennard. Two were OAD, and Luke was a two and done. We don't know anything yet.

Moore's size will be important. If he's 6-5, then he's got the size to play more SF, and if he's 6-4, or under, he's mostly limited to SG. Which means his shooting comes into play.

Heading into their frosh seasons, there were serious questions about Winslow's perimeter shooting, and legitimate concerns about Tyus's perimeter shooting. Winslow's shooting was seen as a weakness, while Tyus's shooting wasn't seen as a strength. Both put those questions to bed as frosh, and became first round picks.

If Moore can make 35+ percent of his threes, and his size holds up, he's a first round talent. He'd be seen as that prototypical 3&D wing that teams are looking for in the draft. But it will ultimately come down to team success. If he plays well on a team that wins the title (or at least makes the FF), he might be gone, be it after his frosh or soph season.
Whatever happened to the thread about what stupid things UNCheats fans say or post. Perhaps the Mods took it down because it wasn't polite and wholesome and colorful as it could have been. Or maybe it died a natural death. One thing that always amazes me about the Foolholes is how they say they are glad when they dont get a recruit they have been after because they only want players who are born and bred Uncheaters to the core. So they wouldn't want a Kareem, Larry Bird or Magic or even a Bagley because they didn't have the UNC heart. What fools and idiots they are. The THR quotes thread pretty much died because a large percentage of us have been banned from THR so the only way any of us can read the threads on THR is by logging out first then going over to THR and most don’t think it’s worth the trouble. I don’t even logout to check out THR that often anymore because it’s too much of a hassle to check out THR on a regular basis. When I went over to THR after Wendell Moore announced his decision it was the first time I had went over there in at least a few months.
