Sounds like Chase Daniel.
**** happens in football man.
Set realistic expectations and it wont hurt as much.
That's not football....that was a comment by one of your fellow fans that are supposedly the best fans in college football....

And I can honestly say that I never heard a Brook Berringer joke from a CU fan....but I suspect if you had, your response wouldn't have been "**** happens in football....set realistic expectations...." which is pretty moronic, as my expectations are pretty realistic.

As an Iowa fan who has lived in Boulder for 25 years, I was impressed with the number of husker fans at Folsom - unreal. Never seen something like that. That was a pivotal game for both teams. Nebraska has a great schedule... I see them going 8-4 and to a big bowl game.
I wish I could agree. We have a lot of work to do to be a team that can win 8 games.

There was a constant stream of trash raining down on the Husker bench from the stands. It was visible in multiple shots during the game.

So any complaints from the bongalo fans about Husker behavior has zero ground to stand on.

Sal Aunese jokes have always been classless. No place for it in sports no matter how bitter the feelings between the two teams and fan bases.

But to say that Martinez was hurt beforehand is moronic. He was still playing and leading his team down the field. So explain this to me so I understand... he was already hurt, your boy didn’t hurt him at all, yet after the play where he wrenched on his leg he can’t put weight on it... but that’s because he was already hurt? Please don’t insult husker intelligence by pretending a guy on the ground, after the play was over, then rolling up on the QB that was torching them to get him out of the game was not what injured him?

Ok... I guess I didn’t know that pot clouds your vision as well. Now I do.

Oh -pot joke, clever. I’m not saying Callier didn’t overdue it, but really doubt that it caused his injuries. I’ve spoke casually with orthopedic surgeons interested in these programs and they 100% agree that Landman’s second hit coming from the opposite direction was to blame. Your coach looked like a ***** nationally, for blaming his loss on this. You idiots followed that narrative, and with a nice ending to the season, let him off the hook. As a Buffs fan, I will enjoy watching that arrogant ******* believe he is better than his record...

I've had CU fans say some pretty @ucked stuff to my face, as well as heard them say some pretty messed up stuff about Nebraskans while in public. There are tons of CU forums filled with revolting things said by you guys. So take your moral superiority, and shove it up your pipe Cheech.

A kid, likely a CU fan, may have tried to spit on a player. One person isn't CU, anymore that the Husker fan on the Denver Post this past week that was still making Sal Aunese references is Nebraska.

Oh please! Don't come to this board with that BS when your board is full of that hypocricy! You all have a long history of being a less than favorable fan base. Who on earth would ever come up with throwing piss bombs? Having your whole student section removed from the stadium? Keying vehicles? What on earth are you all thinking? The fact that your AD had to call for civility from your fanbase is a glaring slap in the face for your group. Please!

I never have. I have never had anything but a great time on road trips.

So, can you apologize to me now?
OK....

I'm sorry I assumed that you were like the many other Husker fans that often blame anything bad happening to them in Colorado on CU fans/being a Husker fan.

So slashed tires and keyed cars is not just reserved for vehicles with Nebraska plates by Colorado fans? This happens routinely in Colorado no matter what license plate is on your car?

Good to know.

See, there you go, wasn't so hard was it?

Instead of crying like a ***** about other fans, just shut the **** up and have fun at the games.

Apology accepted. Thank you.

my experience this year was that everyone associated with CU rolled out the red carpet for NU fans, rolled over and let us pet their bellies the entire weekend until they bit us with about 2mins left in the game.

didn't see any sh*t talk, fights, anything I expected from a 'hated rival'. lots of beers/shots being offered and lots of dead fish in the stands who were as shocked to have won as we were to lose.

hate losing home games to CU. tough one, for sure.

I think it's funny that so many people people will keep going to Boulder for something as trivial as a football game if they're always getting their tires slashed, car keyed, and hit with piss balloons.....

In other words, I think there's a lot of exaggeration.

On the other side, I have known CU fans that have had their car vandalized in Lincoln. Apparently Colorado isn't the only place that occurs....

I agree, it was classy.

And I am not trying to be tough, why would I? You were crying like a ***** about people crying like bitches. You got called out, you apologized for it and that is that. You did the right thing, you should be proud of that fact.

It sort of sounds like you want to do FaceTime? I am not 100% into that but if it would make you feel better to see me while I say that you are crying like a *****, I suppose I will be happy to do that. What is your #?

Of course there is...dude...there are few fans as sensitive as Husker fans, period. Most of them LOVE to find something to be offended by, I have been to 10 different stadiums and the worst I ever heard was "Booooo" from Purdue fans at a bar and it was all in good fun.

I’m not the one on an opposing team’s message board saying, “That stuff doesn’t happen here!”

I never said it didn’t happen to Colorado fans in Nebraska. Not sure why you went there. But I will tell you this... no other fan base has ever complained about that happening. Only Colorado. I wonder why Nebraska fans would single out Colorado fans?

Retribution? Hmmmmmmm...

You are one delusional person if you can't see what your player did last year as pure BS. How about you re-watch the game and see what your player did. Congrats on owning a great house. Based on your words you must know coach Frost personally since it is OK for you to rip on him and call him a loser. Don't preach in one sentence and then say the exact opposite.

This crap is the same song every team sings about the other. Its the same as CU complaining that the pedophile you allowed to play, or the numerous scumbags you ignored under Osbourne for the sake of wining while pretending to be a wholesome midwest team. Its all just poor losing. You lost. The kids lost heart. The coach, as he has shown since his jump to real football, lost heart and lost his cool and control. Nebraska was picked to win. They were bigger. CU supposedly stunk and was overrated and had not talent. Nebraska was doing a hostile takeover. Like many of your fans at halftime you were overconfident and complacent. You didn't count on the quiet team who didn't put anything quotable out there all week or even talk about the game to have the steadfast leader they had. He was calm. He was collected. He kept his mouth shut instead of running on and on about cheap shots etc like Frost did pre game. He just showed up and played a game. His kids followed his lead and never quit. They were stronger, better conditioned and had more heart when it all came down to it. They ran it down your throats in the second half and looked fresh when it was over. Your team could hardly get up and gave up. Why? Piss poor leadership more intent on showboating and talking then just playing a game. I said this in another post. Osborne doesn't lose that game. Frost doesn't have half of the fortitude Osbourne had. Maybe he is there 30 years and you guys win multiple national championships. To do that though he needs to start acting like a grown up and a champion in public so that his kids don't quit on the field. I do not know him but I do not need to. He has made sure through his interviews and bravado that everyone knows who he is and how great he is. There in lies the problem... ever see Saban act like frost. I sure haven't and today he is the high water mark on coaching.

I guess it beats being a poor loser full of excuses and complaining about a twisted leg that did not happen.
Didn't happen? Do you not have TV or internet in Colorado. GTFO with that revisionist history.

I am almost 100% confident you are making this up. Did you se the video of CU fans flipping of Nebraska fans after the game? I haven't seen that anywhere but Colorado, but I'm sure you have some stories of that happening at Nebraska, right?

I was actually disappointed with the atmosphere. Having heard a lot about the 'hate' in this 'rivalry', I didn't see or hear anything from buffs fans.

just little lambs offering beers, selling tickets, happy to be there. like I said, in the stadium they were just as stunned to win as we were to lose.

Fans flipping off other fans at the game? No way. Did it look anything like the bird that your accused felon who is being allowed to play gave to the fans in your first game?

So let me get this straight??? There is video of a NU player being spit on, video of a player appearing to wrench on Martinez leg but according to CU fans its made up... Meanwhile a Colorado player suggests that NU players were the ones being dirty, with zero evidence really at all, we're just supposed to believe that its true?
