Happy the young Mountaineers have another home game Friday. We welcome the RedHawks to the turf. Should be a good game.

Monroe has a stud WR in Shaleak Knotts. He's tough to stop and overall think this will be a shootout

This is a really interesting game. Monroe definitely won't be intimidated by coming into KM considering the conference they play in & they definitely didn't have an issue walking into Statesville last night and taking care of business.

I have watched some videos of MONROE they can be a very DANGEROUS TEAM. YOUNG MOUNTIES can not be LOOKING AHEAD.

Alright, that's it. I'm cheering for KM. I hope they complete the county state championship count. (thomas jefferson and pinnacle can suck the left one and make the right one jealous) but you NEED to STOP CAPITALIZING every OTHER word.

Got to go with Monroe here. Kings Mountain is starting to get a little too big for their cleats and Monroe is just the sort of team that can turn them over. Yeah you need to remember Monroe was a state champion in 2A and their schedule strength for regular season is superior because they play Catholic. They are all business and will play Mounties to the bitter end. A bitter end for Kings Mountain that is.

Good luck mountain men. You will need all you can muster.

Did you say KINGS MOUNTAIN?

KM will dust Monroe pretty good. In my opinion, Monroe does not use Punch Knotts enough/properly. Should have 20 touches a game, he gets maybe 6-8

Monroe has been to Cleveland County before. They didnt enjoy their stay at the jungle.

That was 2016 I was referring to. Their last year in 2A I believe. They won the 2AA in 2015. The Golden Lions smacked them around pretty good too.

no they did not, you Shelby fans exaggerate everything. It wasn't a run a way score by any means, add to that Monroe didn't even have their starting QB. It was like 24-14 or something like that. I think it would have been closer with the starting QB for Monroe.

He’s right! We smacked them, 28-7, and that’s with Shelby’s leading rusher, Xavier Brooks, being thrown off the team earlier in the season.. Shelby had so much depth that year. Stop hating!

Maybe I was wrong on the score, but i remember that game was streamed and closer than the score indicated. i even remember they ran a kick off back and Shelby ran a kick off back. If it was 28-7, Monroe was down a QB and using a sophmore, so they were already underdogs in that game.
