I thought UNC's length caused us to rush some open 3's, one of which was Willis'

Monk was fouled, the one play I thought that killed us in the last couple minutes was a chance at a offensive rebound that went right through Bam's fingers with no one near him. UNC then went down and scored.

You guys also had like 7 men on the court as unc inbounded the ball after the monk 3. Let's not nit pick.

Nitpicking is part of the game in a two point game where at least four possessions went UNC’s favor due to calls.

But being that you’re a Vol fan, what would you know about basketball? Your program’s never seen the winning side of an Elite Eight.

Bottom line is when we got up 5 with 5 minutes UNC went on a 12-0 run.

Ballgame.

You just have to tip your hat to them.

This. This is the response to everything.

Start of the season, someone tells you UK vs UNC for the Final 4--you're up 5 with 5 minutes to go, you take that every single time. No questions asked. We got it, and they beat us.

The refs don't matter.

Monk hits the FT and they're down 1--that same play beats us. Doesn't matter. We had 3 straight terrible possessions to go from up 5 to down 1.

He 100% travelled on that last shot

Travel my ***!!!! He got fouled with no call. We didn't get one single call our way in this game, not one. UNC received at least a half dozen and won by 2. We weren't beat by any means it was stolen from us but that's ok. Sometimes that's what it takes to beat us and that was the case tonight. In the first half Higgins might as well have been wearing a UNC jersey.

I was just thinking the same thing with I watched that video. Didn't see it the first time, but it was the old Patrick Sparks shuffle against UL several years ago. Watch his feet. A definite walk -- but I'll be the first to admit you're never going to get that call.

if they call that foul and we go up by 1, we get a chance to setup defense. They called if for Jackson and should have called it even for Monk.

Willis missing that late uncontested three was the decider. Champions knock that down.
Don't know what was worse, Willis missing that shot or Willis picking up Maye down the court on the final possession and inexplicably leaving him at the last second freeing him up for the game winner. Willis didn't have his best game to put it mildly.

Jackson shoved him into the cheap seats was why he did not get back. Missed it live but it is obvious in the replay.
I saw at least 5 or 6 fouls on him that were either given to non important white guys or ignored completely.

You have the wrong "he." The Cheat player traveled on the final shot of the game. He took about 6 steps (3 bunny hops).

You stop the ball in that situation and Willis helped in order to force the pass and keep Pinson from driving and getting an open look. Guy has to hit a deep two and that's the shot you want over a fairly uncontested layup or giving up a foul.

Willis played to stop the drive. Briscoe had to cover but was too short to alter Maye's shot
