Agreed Bugs - understand confidence, but let’s not give the Muffs any bulletin board material at all. Talk is f’in cheap and do your talking on the field and make it happen. Like Frosty said last week - I want missiles on the field. GBRDomann better back his talk up.
I hear ya - I kept saying to self. They will just turn it on soon and then I realized there was no turning on to be had. Major question I have right now is could they really hold back the offense that much were the coaches and the players had their collective eyes on next weekend already? They were flat and vanilla as hell and are they that good on offense and is the game against the Buffs that importante that they could hold out for next week and roll the dice. QB only ran twice/thrice and was thinking they did not want to risk an injury and then I heard about the NW QB probably going down for the count in the first game and wondered if last years first game injury was in the back of Frost's mind. Frost said the offense practices last week blew so interested to hear how practice goes this week and if the QB runs for 70 to 90 yards with three TD's (one run and 2 TD passes) then I will know on Saturday. Anyhow, I almost want this game as much as the Iowa game b/c it will set the tone for the next 4 to 5 weeks.
