Domann better back his talk up.
Agreed Bugs - understand confidence, but let’s not give the Muffs any bulletin board material at all. Talk is f’in cheap and do your talking on the field and make it happen. Like Frosty said last week - I want missiles on the field. GBR

Well re-wtaching the game....the offense played like it was cool but the defense played with waay more passion.

I hear ya - I kept saying to self. They will just turn it on soon and then I realized there was no turning on to be had. Major question I have right now is could they really hold back the offense that much were the coaches and the players had their collective eyes on next weekend already? They were flat and vanilla as hell and are they that good on offense and is the game against the Buffs that importante that they could hold out for next week and roll the dice. QB only ran twice/thrice and was thinking they did not want to risk an injury and then I heard about the NW QB probably going down for the count in the first game and wondered if last years first game injury was in the back of Frost's mind. Frost said the offense practices last week blew so interested to hear how practice goes this week and if the QB runs for 70 to 90 yards with three TD's (one run and 2 TD passes) then I will know on Saturday. Anyhow, I almost want this game as much as the Iowa game b/c it will set the tone for the next 4 to 5 weeks.

We all know our guys want this game bad. I’m lost on the S Bama performance as anyone is (offensively anyways) but I’m waiting to see how we play against Colorado. There will be no kicks or punches pulled in this game...no vanilla play calls...nothing. We will see what our teams made of this Saturday. Believe that. I hope Maurice Washington is full go all game and A Martinez let’s lose with his legs as well as his arm. Blow these guys out...GBR

I just don’t think they could really get it going. Between bad line play, high snaps and Martinez not making the best of decisions I think thats a recipe for disaster. South Alabama did a great job to take advantage of our keystone cop operation on saturday. Nothing was going right even when things would start to smooth out a bit they quickly fell apart.

I can’t say that I trust the defense to be our bread and butter this season so I hope we get our act together on offense in the coming weeks.

Question of the day is was it just a bad day..off day orrr.... could other teams duplicate what USA did only better.. Ive never seen AM struggle that bad in any game like that last year as a true fresh.. hope they play downhill this week..in this offense thats what it takes.. downhill and fast....no turnovers and we will be singing a different tune after next week

I am hopeful fellow posters - I want “missiles” on defense and “missiles” from the RB’s and I want “missiles” crossing the field and catching TD’s from the TE’s and WR’s and I most want careful “missiles” from the QB who doesn’t take unnecessary hits and lives to play 110% another day unlike last year Muffs game with those stinkin cheating leg-twisters!
