this blue ribbon award should go to the first player in each game who:

1. turns the ball over (unless See: #3)
2. gets a personal foul
3. misses a block that leads to a turnover
4. misses a tackle on 3rd and long
5. drops a pass that hits them in the chest

then a red ribbon for the second
yellow for 3rd and pink for 4th.
then anyone in the game that makes one of the above mistakes latter in the game get a small parcipitation award.

these can be presented during team film review time

I figure the momentum killer participation trophy could be like burnt orange plastic football player sitting on a bench, about the size of them green army men deals.

Why not just have the guy that recieves your award for sucking just wait on the field while his teamates come off so he can be laughed and pointed at by the rest of his teamates, coaches and fans by himself... then the other team could join as well..

Why post this crap just get behind the team GBR

I think this goes against Scott Frost’s principle of not playing afraid to make mistakes. Also, I don’t think you ever played football

you realize that more often than not you will have to give this award to multiple players.
I have no problem with that, we are 0-3 and it's not looking good, someone has to do something, plus I said team meetings, not in front of everyone and their mom. plus I was kinda joking, which maybe doesn't translate in text so much.

So in your mind, this will fix everything? Hey Scott, stop everything, it's the ribbon thing! Yeah, I got redwine on the phone right now.

no, I didn't say that either. Im sure they could find some assistant to put this together, scott could just hand them out after each play is reviewed, while pointing out the correct way to do it.

Not a fan of calling players out.
either am I unless, it happens over, and over, and over...
I remember a sports illustrated article about Dr.Tom chewing some *** (not going full bo disclaimer inserted here) after a backup lineman was lolly gagging during a game. Im ok with forgetting about bad plays if they happen ONCE IN A WHILE.

ps, I was joking about them handing out ribbons and I assumed people were wise enough to know they wouldn't.
