I'm glad we kept fighting but this was a classic 2nd half letdown by a team that was up by a bunch! Wasn't quite the same as Oregon. Lol. Now let's beat Iowa before coach Frost is announced!

How would you not have confidence
Because Iowa plays every game close. I get the feeling Iowa is gonna sit in its normal base zone defense and Tanner Lee is gonna rip it to shreds. Plus Iowa hasn’t ran the ball at all this season. Idk, maybe it’s just me trying to prepare myself just in case but I’m not confident.

Iowa will run the ball well against us. Everyone is. Worst Nebraska defense I have ever seen

Everyone's game plan for us should be run, run, run and when you think they have you figured out or might do something about it, you just run some more realizing that it was silly of you to entertain the idea of this defense stopping the run even if they wanted to.

If they dont get cute and turn around handing Wadley the ball,he can just follow our safeties into the end zone all day.I can't miss this taking my kids to the game because with Frost coming this may be the last chance I get great seats cheap for awhile

it’s odd that both teams are 3-5 in conference but it feels like we are going to get crushed
Great point.

Iowa vs. the West 2-3 (victories against Minnesota and Illinois)
Nebraska vs. the West 2-3 (victories against Purdue and Illinois)
Nebraska vs. the East 1-2 (losses to PSU and OSU, victory against Rutgers)
Iowa vs. the East 1-2 (losses to PSU and MSU, victory against ... wait ... what? Ohio f*cking State? Crap.)

Iowa's average margin of defeat in conference = 9.8 points
Nebraska's average margin of defeat in conference = 23.0 points

Iowa's average margin of victory in conference = 22.3 points
Nebraska's average margin of victory in conference = 11.0 points

Plus, they beat Ohio State. Did I mention that?

So, yeah — those 3-5 records are very different.

9and4, Iowa sucks. No idea how they beat tOSU, but Purdue was clearly the better team yesterday. Wadley wouldn't see the field at Nebraska, your WR suck besides that freshman who can fly, and your offensive scheme is atrocious.

Plus your HC is an idiot (going for 2 at the inappropriate time).

Iowa will always suck. No chance for anything important, because they run a boring *** offensive scheme and rely on too many slow athletes to compete at athletic positions.

So go suck it with your Hawk friends. Your allegiance has been made. Live in that bed.

I would almost net my house that the
huskers win. Maybe by even three scores. I'm not sure the Hawks could score 20 points in team warm ups ..I'm serious in thinking it might be a 35-13 game

Hey, Mr. Fort Lauderdale. I'm a 1984 grad of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have been a Husker fan since I first saw the Huskers beat Bobby Moore, Dan Fouts and the Oregon Ducks in 1971 at Memorial Stadium. My family live in Lincoln, the city where I was born and raised. I attended high school with former Nebraska player and coach Craig Bohl. My father and sister have both worked in the press box at Memorial Stadium for UNL football games.

I was the sports editor at the Daily Nebraskan my senior year at UNL and was able to cover the Scoring Explosion all the way to the fateful Orange Bowl game against Miami in January 1984. That was my first taste of South Florida, and for some reason I returned to live there after graduation, where I worked at the Sun-Sentinel as a sports reporter.

I now teach sports writing at the University of Iowa and live in Iowa City, after having spent 27 years working for the state of Colorado, including the last four years teaching journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I learned to have an appreciation for the Buffs and CU.

Would like to meet you in person some time so that I can confirm that you're not as big a dick as you pretend to be online. I'm sure you're really a good person.

Take care, and enjoy your Sunday.

Other than Ohio State, Iowa's one outlier runnning the ball this season, but that was at home ...

The other outlier, Iowa's 44-41 win at Iowa State in OT. Iowa scored on the road.

Otherwise, Iowa has 14, 10 and 10 points in all three B1G road loses.

I hope we win and Moos makes an Eichorst like statement about evaluating the Iowa program when he fires Riley.
