Long time UK Fans have seen lots of changes to this board, especially in recent years. There used to be moderators that did a pretty good job of actually keeping the posters in line. Being banned was apparently a common thing. But now? With all the changes of ownership, it's pretty clear that UK is not favored by the current ownership. Is that why there are so many low post count posters that start with "Anon"? I assume that stands for anonymous? I guess the more Trolls; the more clicks; the more money for On3?

Good luck getting an answer or at least an honest answer. I still say this site promotes the Anon posters, the trolling, name calling, insults, fighting etc. to try and get as many as possible to switch to being paid members before they shut the free board down.
I never thought of it like that but you may very well be right.
As they stated last week, it is up to On3. Mods are not helping.
So you want posters banned who haven't broken any forum rules yet simply because you don't like that they haven't created a name?
As far as trolling and name calling goes, I've seen a few regulars who fit that bill and plenty of others who will type 'Poops' instead of 'Pope' because you know, they don't like Pope and typing the word 'poop' is super duper clever. You're barking up the wrong tree on this one imo. This board wants to shift all blame to anonymous accounts when regulars will create 15 threads a week and speak in toilet humor.

Instead of lumping all the "Anon" posters together and assuming we are all trolls who should be banned when you can easily tell by looking at their post record. Anons are no more anonymous than anyone else. The numbers at the end separate one from the other and you can easliy check their posting record and see if they are trolling or contributing to a discussion. I personally have no idea what the real identity is to any name on here Anon or not. I would be willing to bet I've been a true Kentucky fan longer than a lot of those complaining. I just happen to want to keep the name I was assigned. Period. Go CATs.
I'm never going back to paying for the Rivals/on 3 board. I guess I'll just deal with the trolls or maybe I'll just join them. Looks like you can post anything you want without consequences. Unless, it's a cross dressing thread... just sayin'

Dude be for real. We are NOT keeping a damn spreadsheet just to keep track of which Anon poster is which. Nobody is going to remember who is who by a bunch of random numbers on the end of the name.
If you’re lazy enough to keep the anon name then you just get lumped into all the rest of the anon accounts.

It's really not that hard to change your Anon name - can even come up with a name for you - MarkPoop.
I changed mine because I didn't like it & didn't wanna get lumped with the ones that troll.
I emailed On3, they fixed it for me. Go to their website & use "contact us" tell them you're a poster on the free board, trust me, it took me several emails, they kept saying that they couldn't find my account, I told them I didn't have a pay account, just on the free board, they finally fixed it to the name I wanted, which is my real name. Let them know your whole "anon" name including the numbers.

The earlier 1990's college sports internet boards were far better than what is currently being offered. The money grab killed the boards. Both early UK UL boards were started by a few guys working out of their basements and they were both superior to the boards in play now. The narrative on the boards remained civil and respectful and seldom did the board operators have to step in. Grand kids could read the boards with few exceptions without you worrying what was being posted. My rant is over.
