So in one I'm reading I see Isaiah Jackson going #21 to the Nets, which would be perfect because that team has no defense. We'll like lose Boston because he's projected first round, but Clarke is low second round and Brooks could go undrafted

Sophomore Clarke and Junior Brooks?

I mean, from Cal's perspective, if I'm trying to get these kids drafted as high as possible, returning a sophomore year where Clarke will be stronger and can run point, and junior Keion who could average 15+ would improve stock
Clarke comes back, he ain’t running point. You’re more likely to see Hickman do it or if Sallis commits to Gonzaga then Skyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Clark likely moves to the class of 2021 and shows up for fall semester.

Either of those guys can get to the rim better than Askew.

Clark/Hickman
Askew
Clarke
Brooks
Jackson/Tshiebwe

That’s what I want.

Just give me
Toppin
Brooks
Clarke
Askew or Mintz
Jackson
Fletcher
add that with the class coming in next year and it’s a scary sight.
I find it hilarious that anyone would think there’s even the slightest slimmest chance that all those guys would come back.

Unless it was someone who got stranded on a deserted island a decade ago and just now got rescued.

Imagine thinking Jackson coming back wouldn’t help his offensive game.
Is there some reason he can’t also improve his offensive game with a pro team that, unlike college teams, offers unlimited practice time and developmental assistance unrestrained by NCAA restrictions? And while also being paid a hefty salary instead of making nothing.

It’s become crystal clear how this works with UK players in the Cal era, it amazes me that some still don’t seem to fully get it. If a Cal player is projected at or even near the first round, he’s gone. Period. The notion that he might stick around based on some hope that another year might maybe improve his offensive game has proven to be delusional thinking indeed.

I get it 100%. I’m expecting him to leave. I’m just dreaming man.

Terrence Clarke will NOT be back next year. I’m willing to lay down the cash against anyone that believes otherwise
This. Once Clarke comes back, all he has to do is have one or 2 good games and that’s all she wrote.
Nobody should be having any thoughts on TC coming back, it ain't happening and you can forget about Brooks coming back for a 3rd year too.

A very true and honest guess, and a reason why I get more excited for football than basketball these days

Any better than what we thought about this current team last year at the same time? Idk.

Based in the last few seasons I am just going to expect lackluster to awful basketball for the first several months with a glimpse or two of being really good then MAYBE a “i mean they’re pretty good but deep down I know they’re not going to the FF even tho I’ll convince myself they’re legit like the teams from 09-15.”

Less chance of being disappointed.

I think a brooks return is crucial to any hope of success. None of this draft board stuff matters only thing that matters is what the players do. Hagans and Montgomery many more

Brooks isn't even Top 100 for NBA prospects. As long as he is smarter than EJ which I think he is he shouldn't be going anywhere. Sarr and Mintz could both return and I don't see why either wouldn't but I doubt Sarr would from what he said before he got here. Maybe he has a change of heart because he seems to be right out of the 2nd round and could definitely use an extra year. Imagine him where he belongs at the 4 with Oscar at the 5.

With all the hype coming in I would be surprised if Boston and Clarke didn't go. I also think Jackson ends up in the lottery and we see him continue to advance. I would love to see Jackson return. I feel like he could have a bigger step forward than PJ did, but I know we will more than likely lose all 3. As long as nothing ridiculous happens though we should return a good amount and Oscar who should be getting familiar with the program and the guys.

Idk about Brooks not coming back. His father is a good figure with the program, and if he returns with an improved shot and even stronger figure, he will definitely be first round

Would love for him to be one of the more loved and best small forwards in the Calipari era

Brooks is less mentioned in draft prospects than even Ashton who was just outside the draft and EJ. Brooks isn't even top 100. For all these people that say he is leaving if he does it is for overseas. G league maybe. I just don't see him going that route. He seems a bit smarter than EJ.

I'm putting eggs in he comes back. His father is smart and loves the program, Keion loves the program, and most of the times you don't see the fanbase being toxic towards him at all
