About as good as your chances.Any chance he will be on the team next year?
I think Mo had to do everything right to earn his way back and I don't see him doing that. I don't think Mo Washington is on any team next year. Maybe he'll turn up at a juco playing defensive back.Any chance he will be on the team next year?
Just another one of the disappointments about Frost for me.Remember when Frost told the media early on that he wouldn’t recruit a player if they had any issues with women, or racial stuff in their past. He talked about social media and whatnot and how it’s their resume for life. He acted all high and mighty.
But then he recruited a kid with football talent. Then allegations came to light that were pretty serious. He sat the kid 1 half even though he said he wouldn’t recruit those kids.
Point is he didn’t expect a 6-6 season. Hell he probably thought 8-4 minimum like the rest of us. It’s why he played Mo after 1 half and said at halftime “our running game isn’t very good right now”.
Bottom line is it wouldn’t surprise me if he were back on the team if he can win games.
Frost had promised his parents that he would try to mentor him and take care of him. I think he tries to do that with all of the recruits. It's a tough line to walk. I suspect that Frost is more disappointed in Mo than you are in Frost. Personally I just hope the guy gets his head in order and stays in school somewhere.Just another one of the disappointments about Frost for me.
Then don’t tell the media and fans that you don’t tolerate that stuff. Tell the truth. Tell the media and fans I will tolerate this stuff a little bit if you can start and be a guy we rely on.Frost had promised his parents that he would try to mentor him and take care of him. Exactly what "stuff" did Frost tolerate? Mo was suspended for at least part of a game at least once. You can't kick kids off the team for first offenses of minor stuff. His problem in California was a mess which was blown WAY out of proportion. People who were so horrified by that deal have no grasp on the reality of what's going on with high schoolers in this country. Frost and the University had to come to grip with how they were legally going to handle that. Then don’t tell the media and fans that you don’t tolerate that stuff. Tell the truth. Frost "tolerated" things that would get you and me thrown in jail for a night or two. We would both certainly lose our jobs. Mo's behavior was certainly throwback to about 4 years ago...Frost knows you need people who don't give a shiite. People who "care" to much, who think too normally often crack under the pressure that a blueblood creates...loose nuts often allow players to play loose but you have to manage them and in this day and age it is difficult. Get used to more of it because Frost feels this is a way to close the talent gap. Talk parents into sending their troubled talent to the siberia of nebraska...Frosty and staff will mentor them, and cross their fingers that they don't "expose" their true nature.Exactly what "stuff" did Frost tolerate? Huh? Please tell me what those things were. I must have missed them. We had some guys get ticketed for pot or having a pot pipe I don't remember which. I'm NOT a pot advocate but lets get real here. That isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence in high school and college aged students. The incident that Mo was accused of is what has your panties in a wad. That whole deal was a difficult case to deal with for several reasons. I think Frost was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. The University AND Frost decided to let the legal process play out. Frankly I think he was a distraction and hurt our team. I think Frost probably felt the same way but was trying to help the kid get his life in order. It isn't like he hid a gun involved in a shooting in his desk......Frost "tolerated" things that would get you and me thrown in jail for a night or two. We would both certainly lose our jobs. I would rather every player smokes pot vs. take pain pills, no it isn't pot...I gave enough hints in the above paragraph...lets just say people are glad he is gone...sad, but glad.Huh? He'll be selling crack back home until he gets shot by a competitor !I think Mo had to do everything right to earn his way back and I don't see him doing that. I don't think Mo Washington is on any team next year. Maybe he'll turn up at a juco playing defensive back.
Wow. Vague accusation that I haven't heard anywhere else.I would rather every player smokes pot vs. take pain pills, no it isn't pot...I gave enough hints in the above paragraph...lets just say people are glad he is gone...sad, but glad.

it would make sense if he was trying to stay on the team and yet wanted to avoid certain people or a person on offense. then it makes perfect sense to me.Prior to this weirdness, has anyone ever heard of a running back at the top of the depth chart asking to switch to defense?

in fact, maybe they should get rid of the player that (in my eyes) is the worst cancer of all.. then you don't have others on offense trying to find ways to leave.
Dang, you're right. I didn't realize he played more than four games. He can't go juco. I still expect him to reappear at a small school somewhere and make the switch to play DB, which is where Deon Sanders thinks he has the most pro potential.kid has burned two years of eligibility if he goes juco and plays would only have one year left
The kid doesn't like to run inside. He doesn't like to take a hit. When he got the ball all the defense had to do is herd him toward the sideline. Frost should have not played him until he got his legal issues straight. Big distraction to the team.He would have made a big difference in these last games if he would have stayed out of trouble. The talent is there but he is still a young kid mentally and socially.
I think Mo sat out the first half twice, but I could be wrong. Anyway, my reaction to Washington sitting out only a half was that the staff must be going pretty easy on him and that more trouble was ahead-- because sitting out a half is not enough of a consequence.Exactly what "stuff" did Frost tolerate? Not true. There were red flags at Trinity Christian that everyone overlooked because of his talent. Again, no one gets kicked out of school, 3 weeks before graduation, for not paying a library fine or running in the halls. And the funny part Solana Fails to remember is those charges with pot deal was dropped and/or thrown out the window. So it didn’t happen. So the only issues there’s been is the Maurice Washington deal (the one the coaching staff had no clue about the time they recruited him and didn’t find out till he was enrolled and on campus or did we forget about that too? Convenient if you ask me). Time to move on little doggy and stop worrying about the stupid crap.
Mo has had issues for a long time. Frost took a chance on him and it did not pan out. **** happens. Time to move on.
I don’t disagree with a word you write here. In fact, I endorse every word, especially the stuff about how ambiguous his “culture” is. My only point in the above is to state the obvious. Frost recruited Mo and gave him chances he didn’t give to others. It failed. Time to move on and hope Frost learns on the job.The problem with that is that he preaches culture and hard work and staying out of trouble. He ran people out who didn’t fit the “culture”, people who could have made a difference in 4-8 and 5-7 seasons. You lose credibility at some point. I don’t know that he’s reached that point yet, but the results in recruiting are not panning out yet. In fact I’m still trying to figure out what his “culture” is.

Maybe him being gone says more about the team leadership of our Sophomore/ juniors and seniors. Instead of holding him accountable and mentoring him. They let the kid wonder from this path he was given, due to selfishness and spite., they let him continue doing wrong against his family.missing class and practices. I guess we reap what we sewed then. 5/7 and sitting home again for bowl season, instead of 7/5. This team had a lot of i issues and being its brothers keeper got lost, that’s why were 5/7. This selfish culture has too change going forward. And the funny part Solana Fails to remember is those charges with pot deal was dropped and/or thrown out the window. So it didn’t happen. Don't agree, he was not productive as a running back in his last few outingsHe would have made a big difference in these last games if he would have stayed out of trouble. The talent is there but he is still a young kid mentally and socially.
