Assume that AMart and JD and not available this Saturday. Do we see Wandale, Mo and Noa at WR this Saturday. Get Mo out in space and see if he can do some damage.
Last year when JD was out against Iowa, Mo did some damage out on the perimeter. Can't remember if all of his 7 catches for 102 yards came from lining up as a back, or if he was in the slot of split out on some of them.I don't see Mo lining up as a receiver any more than what we've seen.

Did Kade play against NW?Can we see if McCaffrey can get open? Maybe Warner, too?
He did not. I'm grasping at straws considering the lack of transparency (warranted or not) from the coaches about injuries.Did Kade play against NW?
I thought here-aggravated his foot injury.Did Kade play against NW?
I think I've been pretty clear for those that follow along, I wish Washington was not playing. However he is.Just depends if Washington is in the dog house or not
That’s what i heard he aggravated it against Ohio stI thought here-aggravated his foot injury.
They said that he reaggrevated his injury in the little amount of playing time he got against OSU.Did Kade play against NW?

Mo was one of the reasons we almost took Iowa to OT last year. Temps were in the 30s for that game.It will be cold and wet so dont expect much if anything from Mo
He's got a lot to be unhappy about right now. Got himself sat for a half and then came in and looked hurt, slow and scared of contact. Will Washington still be with the team? Just read Sipple's column in which he wrote Mo looked very unhappy when he ran off the field last Saturday. Does anyone who went to the game agree with Sipple's observation? If so we all know how kids are these days. If things don't go their way then enter the transfer portal.

This week, I don't expect him to be much of a factor. It looks like it will be miserable weather, against a team that if not overly talented on D, HITs. He hasn't given us any indication he'll flourish in a physical game, when our pass game will challenged(potential injuries and weather). With his reaction after the game Saturday, along with whatever he did to get in trouble... toughness and discipline seem to weak spots for him. Could see Frost's tolerance wearing thin

He has to be able to run between the tackles or it is too transparent. Just like Wandale has to be able to run inside and Mills has to be able to run out side, or the defense will know what is coming. Plus a lot of his big runs have come on inside plays that he bounces to the outside.Maybe we should quit running him up the middle...behind a poor offensive line
Idk
Get Mo some direct snaps and see what he can do. Oh wait, those would be way over his head!Assume that AMart and JD and not available this Saturday. Do we see Wandale, Mo and Noa at WR this Saturday. Get Mo out in space and see if he can do some damage.

I disagree.. i just watched the minn/ill game again. They got a ton of yards on the edge/ off tackle runs with corbin that i think frost will use. I believe you can get more than the inside read..look at last year with zig.. 2 long tds off tackle. Jump cut to the outside and washington is better than anyone we have at that at 100%..I think I've been pretty clear for those that follow along, I wish Washington was not playing. However he is.

More Wandal and more Mills.
If you watched any of the games at UCF, the horizontal screen passes are a big part of the offense. If you have the vertical passing game going, those horizontal passes will really stretch the defense and you can get chunk plays with both the vertical routes and the screen plays. That's how Frost's UCF offense was so successful. However when you don't have the vertical pass game going teams can cheat up and play the screen passes and it's hard to get anything going. I think since we're struggling in both the outside screen game and the vertical passes, Frost needs to incorporate more passes to the middle of the field. Martinez needs to do a better job of seeing the middle of the field for the underneath routes. Most of the time he completely overlooks it. Also when we do run a horizontal pass, Martinez needs to do a better job of identifying the defense. If a defender is playing up on that and is going to blow the play up, he needs to realize he doesn't need to make that pass and either throw the ball away, find another receiver if there is one or tuck it and run.I wonder if we're still going to throw horizontal passes (that gain nothing every-time) all game long again? I hope not.....but then maybe they'll actually work this time? Who knows......

The little bit I've watched Minnesota, they don't appear to have much speed on defense. The lateral stuff might work better against them than it did against OSU.I wonder if we're still going to throw horizontal passes (that gain nothing every-time) all game long again? I hope not.....but then maybe they'll actually work this time? Who knows......
