Anyone watching Waller on the Raiders tonight and thinking Thomas Fidone?

Going to shamelessly bump my own thread. Anyone who watched the Raiders last night saw what a dynamic TE can do for an offense. I see a lot of Fidone in Wallers game.

There was a lot of talk about Fidone prior to his commitment but not much after. I think Fidone will be one of the most important recruits in Frosts career.

I guess yall are too busy talking politics and whining about the schedule to talk football.

Can we let Fidone graduate high school before anointing him as a NFL tight end?

The guy will have enough pressure on him to succeed in year one...unless you want to compare him to Tony Gonzalez or Travis Kelce? Winking

Fair enough, he probably will have unrealistic expectations put on him. Just seeing Waller line up in the slot, knuckles down on the edge, out wide, is reminiscent of Fidones current versatility.
