I wasn't buying Minnesota stock when people were saying they are good. After a closer inspection, It's a record built on twigs. I give them credit for the Iowa win, but Michigan State is not good this year. They've played mostly a soft like N. Dakota, Green Bay, Loyola Marymount twice, Boston College, and Kansas City. If they can play .500 ball over the next few games (Michigan 2x, @ Iowa, andOSU), then I'll start to believe.

Michigan and Maryland on ESPN at 8. We'll learn a little bit about Michigan. I can't believe Maryland beat Wisconsin. Wisconsin doesn't look anything special, but Maryland was meh. Minnesota hit every shot at the end of the Iowa game and MSU is not good right now. I'm sure MSU will improve, but I wouldn't put much in that Iowa win for Minny.

Wisconsin seniors are legit, but against fast teams and teams who force them to use their bench can beat UW. UW is not going to beat themselves. They rely on you making too many mistakes.

Maryland is playing better since we beat them.

100% agree. They don’t look flashy. They just play solid (winning) basketball

Minnesota beat Iowa and hammered MSU by 25 and we have folks saying thats twigs...horrible takes. Are they a top 5 school in league? No but they are good enough to beat any team in league on a given night

That’s why I bet them, but they played horribly today.

Dakich just gave us props. They were taking about the benches and making noise and he said Rutgers came to Maryland and took a road game and turned it into a home game. He loved our energy

This is high level game, both teams

Couple technical fouls seemed unnecessary

Michigan center has some ******* attitude I like him

I stand by the twig statement after watch Minnesota against Loyola Marymount, BC, and N. Dakota. They didn't leave a strong impression. If you struggle one game, you get a pass but several show a pattern. The Iowa game was great, but we all know MSU is not its usual self. If Minnesota is for real, then the next four games will go a long way in defining them as a team this year. They play Michigan (twice), Iowa, and Ohio State.

Michigan is for real. They pass the eye test. Length everywhere and a great guard in Mike Smith
