They did play pretty well, and it was against the #8 team at their place. We lost a bunch of talent last year and I’m pleased with where we are right now.Team played very well minus one bonehead mistake on punt return. Certain fans are idiots, as always.
Pretty much agree. Yes, it is a shame we lost two games we were close to winning but the other team in both circumstances would have said the same thing. I like our team and am proud of them in how they compete. They did play pretty well, and it was against the #8 team at their place. One black cloud in both losses was really bad officiating in vital drives. That interference call against Sills was horrible and it killed that drive and our momentum. I hate blaming refs for losses, but it’s pretty obvious here.Pretty much agree. We really need good receivers. Losing Gibson and Durante hurt.I didn't get to watch the whole game. Though I saw with the box score, that once again we out gained a team we lost to. So it's obvious the offense can move the ball against good defenses. And it looked like the defense played a lot better than they did 2 weeks ago.
I did see the "interception" and the "pass interference". Both were blown calls. May not have changed the outcome, but both were blown.
In the end I didn't think we'd beat TCU, I was actually worried it would 50 something to 20 something.
This team has lots of potential, and I'm hoping Grier sticks around another year, because if he does... watch out.

O-line next year concerns me, linebacker as well, cornerback is a big issue.....but if Askew-Henry and Grier stay, and Bush and Wesco develop....we could be scaryI didn't get to watch the whole game. Not a knock on Askew-Henry, but we can afford a loss at safety. If Grier stays, I think we have some good young receivers who will develop over the off season. O-line should mostly return, so I'm not overly concerned there. D-line will have another year of development. Long will return at LB, but we need the younger guys to pan out for next season. I'll worry at corner, but that's been the case nearly every year lately. We'll still have several good backs. The loss of Wellman will be sad. That guy makes key blocks all over the place. He's a big key to the running game, especially in short yardage situations.O-line next year concerns me, linebacker as well, cornerback is a big issue.....but if Askew-Henry and Grier stay, and Bush and Wesco develop....we could be scary
I like the development of Sills....Raulerson could be big help, but losing both Bosch and Lingafelter hurts (esp as Crawford moves on). Benton is a tackling machine, I’m worried about who steps up there. But you know....Gibby seems to be like he will end up being one of the greatsNot a knock on Askew-Henry, but we can afford a loss at safety. Our wrs were exhausted in the 4th qtr.We need more depth at that position though.

What a disgrace some loudmouth WVU so called fans are including at least one OT regular poster. Either support the team or not. But don't claim you are a WVU fan and be such a disgrace in public.
You (and many others) just need to be less of a knee jerker when it comes to your team if you are indeed are a fan. Your posts are on par with these idiots here wanting to see the country broken. You want to criticize, at least wait until the game finishes and then give an honest critique. But I doubt you will understand my message and will just be pissed off.I know that's directed towards me.......and if criticizing poor decisions and play makes a person less of a fan, then you must be less of an American.......[WVU]

Glad you showed some humor with your reply and I can read between the lines you took my personal criticism pretty much the way it was intended.Ok, so you want me to wait 4 quarters.......why don't you just wait for Trump's 4 years before judging? [winking]
Hahaha! Deplorables want to see the country mended. Your heroes are trying to destroy it.these idiots here wanting to see the country broken.

So lets continue giving these idiot wingnuts on here the abuse they deserve on a daily basis and fight everyday for a better country that we deserve as Americans.
Posts like that confirm just how clueless you are.And race baiting and division will be Trump's....unless he is impeached.

He already has in just 9 short months.
"Good people on both sides."
How is that race baiting? You dont even understand the stupid things you write. Your quote is a partial quote that misrepresents what he said and the two sides were both the same race. Just stop being a damned liar.He already has in just 9 short months.
