Article in the WSJ today discussing the possibility of a labor strike in 2027 due to the owners' wanting a salary cap. Any of you MLB experts have thoughts? Would that possibly delay a draft-eligible college player or a high-draft high schooler to stay/go to college?

It could, but minor league baseball would continue during a strike/work stoppage. If lost development time were the primary concern for a prospect then a strike should not be a deterrent.
Can’t have a salary cap how would the players live, with gas, groceries, housing costs so high it would be a real hardship for them. I can see a slew of personal bankruptcies happening
