I love our QB but he has some limitations. We have a great TE who didnt get involved at all tonight. 22 and 24 run hard and have a little speed. If we can get by Erwin and Roberson we can get a playoff berth

After tonight, I think Reynolds is the clear favorite going forward. I believe Erwin can challenge Asheville for 2nd, and McDowell can absolutely finish at least 4th. Erwin is always inconsistent in conference play, so a 3rd place finish for the titans isn't out of the question either. I was impressed by the home crowd also. Biggest crowd I've seen for McDowell in a long time. And that's a good sign for the program. If Brewer can generate excitement, he can instill football culture back into the program.
Yea Reynolds will probably go undefeated in conference and Asheville might just lose once to Reynolds. Roberson is supposedly beating Ashbrook tonight so they could be better after all. We have 2 should be wins with East Rutherford and Avery up next then conference play. Our JV team is looking strong and we have some talent in middle school. I think we can be more competitive even in our conference play in the upcoming years. WHC seems way down this year outside Mitchell. Watauga beat Maiden so Mitchell is really going to have to play lights out to win next week.
Watauga is the real deal this year. They might even make a push for a State Championship. Mitchell will have their hands full for sure next week.
Maiden is really good and has one of the top WR in the state who has blazing speed
