Normally in time pass when I myself traveled to every game I would say I've rarely seen a vistor side that can hold Mitchell fans even this far away but this year while I know my reason it seems this years traveling crowd has been down.
I see it’s a 4 o clock kickoff. This is close to Tusculum. It’s family style restaurant. It has a really cool store next to it. Get there at 12 for lunch before the game.

Well, ER did score two touchdowns via the ground and was a yard away from scoring a third. ER was having no problems pushing MA down the field that first half. Almost scoring 18 points is definitely not "failure". Especially against a defense like MA's.

Ain’t no longer coming home than the trip up there. Ain’t near as long as having to travel to the SMC. Travel this year has been to Charlotte,Andrews,Rosman so travel for us well we are just use to it.
I think that is why the SMC teams play each other so tough, they don't want to be the one that have to travel. That Murphy crew has to go to Kernersville this week, would likely be going to Mount Airy the next, and if they made it past that would be rewarded with a likely trip to Ramseur. That's a lot of riding on a bus.
When did a 2 1/2 hour drive become long. I drive that about every weekend to Knoxville. It’s not a bad drive for Mitchell
Lenoir Rhyne’s football team is a very good team this year . I have went and watched 4 games this year and man they have some real athletes and the stadium is so nice to watch a game at.

That's going to be a little different sometimes from the nchsaa adm who makes adjustments once they receive the numbers from the state . For example like if there's a early colleges in the county adding students who are allowed to participate in a sport at the high school even if they don't attend that school.
But looking at the dpi website I believe I know why I can't find a 2023-24 nchsaa adm. There's only been 1 month adm reported by the state this year apparently looking at the Final adm of last year is what they are going by because it the latest final adm before the season started plus they have to have time to make their adjustments.
I noticed that even on the final of last year that Elkin high # was 394 and MA was 574 just 3 off the nchsaa adm. So apparently I can only assume that they're adding Surry early college numbers to Elkin to get to the 453.
Hey now, I am not sure about all that.... I thinks you could be way off on the length of the runs. And it may not take 4 plays for the first score. After watching highlights and what I could find this week. I do see a problem or 10 for Mitchell. (As with most everyone MA has or will play this year).
First let me say I am extremely proud of this year's Mountaineers. Not many folks seen a 9-win season. I for one did not see it happening.
Now back to tonight. I just think the MA line will win. Mitchell has some very good High School lineman. But that is what they are. MA has outstanding lineman with a few to several that can and probably will play at the next level. I think this is where all the Mitchell issues start. This will allow the skill position players for MA to just go crazy tonight. I can see several "big plays" coming. The difference in team speed is very obvious. Mitchell had a hard time with the speed of the green team and they don't have the overall speed of MA. As I said in my post way way back before all the food talk and ADM I truly think this to be an early running clock type game.
Having said all that I think that Mitchell will come out and play to the best of their ability. Will that be enough, I doubt it. But man, some strange things have happened up there.
I personally do not see losing to this MA team as a big failure. I only see 2-3 potential road hazards for them and they are like a fly on a Bull. Will bearly be noticed.

Well the reason I posted the article is because what schools I looked at the numbers matched the ADM numbers that I downloaded off the Nchsaa adm but I didn't check them all but they broke it down into classifications so I just figured it would be easier to read.

Wow , almost time to actually play the game on the field. Every scenario of how this game will turn out has been played out this week on this thread. It’s been a fun week of bravado indeed. Hope the mountaineer fans have had safe travels into the granite city and are sitting down eating their pre game meal in one of the many fine establishments Mayberry has to offer. Probably bout now the Cherokee boys club charter bus is backing into their spot at the visitors field house. I Will imagine that the few Tarboro and Robbinsville fans / coaches are making there way to Wallace Shelton stadium to see the hype, the team that’s played in the powder puff conference all year — so they say. But something has peaked their interest, enough to make the trip. Will be surprised at what we’ve been telling you all year is the absolute truth. That the Bears are the truth. I am gonna be intrigued at what the boards look like in the morning. I will say good luck to both teams. Hope it is a clean , WELL OFFICIATED, injury free game. For both teams. GO BEARS

Interested because the bears have played nothing but cupcakes. They played in the weakest conference in the state , all classifications. They just ain’t played nobody is what they say. How in the world can they be that good. If the Nw1a was playing in the east they would be playing in the final 4. If the bears were playing in the Smc they would be conference champs. I’m gonna be interested if the same talk is gonna be the same talk . Kinda like last year. The bears are the bears and the bears are gonna do what the bears do
