Seems like Kentucky is his list. He even came to the state to get his injunction.

Not diminished, at all. UK is definitely a player. When he commits and then is eligible come season, it will be positive. Now it’s hopeful. Calm down.
I don’t know Mitchell like you evidently do but I suspect the no contact tag can mean he is down to one school or down to a handful. It just means it is not open season.

He should apply to every school on his list to make sure he can enroll. Smart move. At least it tells us UK is a serious contender.
I expect him to attend classes at five or six schools next week. Sign up for start dates on different days of the week, and book some evening flights. That will keep his options open. It might be tough, but it is the smart move. No reason for optimism yet.

Tipton is also the same one that’s been very vocal that if Mitchell were to be granted a TRO, he’d think UK would be the only team to watch
Are you all serious about worrying about whether academics relates in any way to sports? When was the last time you heard of a player being academically ineligible?
I think I read he could still play for any team regardless of the KY court thing

Prolly need a solid 24 hrs or some other arbitrary length of time between between entering the portal and commitment. Maybe red tape to avoid further ncaa scrutiny.
You’re right, he’s secretly passionate about equine science and wants to pursue it at uk but possibly play basketball at another school
People on here are looking for anyway to diminish the admission dept. news. Maybe it won‘t work out but the tea leaves pretty much are spelling out Ky, same way the tea leaves said Kohler was going to BYU.
Word on the street is that all 400 level Calculus classes are full. We may lose him!
