Yeah different records but a rivalry game in Avery so wouldn't take anything for granted.
Avery QB averages 171 passing yards per game 1368 yards total not including the Owen game where I believe he has a big night.
Hope to see a complete game from Mitchell not just the second half like in the Mtn Heritage game infact hope the starters not having to play much in the second half.

Avery seems to have improved this year. If the what about me Mountaineers show up, it could be a game, if the seniors realize it's their last shot and start playing like it

Avery lit Owen up like a Christmas tree. Had around 250 passing yards and 100 rushing yards. Avery has talent but don’t have enough to beat Mitchell.

Well Avery has a really nice campus and stadium but the visitor side isn't made for Mitchell coming to town packed like sardines.

I know it was just Avery and it can be difficult to have take aways from a game like that but I've seen some other games this year with less talented opponents where Mitchell didn't have a complete game and didn't really take control until the second half and not a lot of enthusiasm let's say. But last night they played a complete game I didn't watch the Rosman game but it looked like a continuation of the 4th quarter of the Mtn Heritage game playing like they can plus fired up attitude wise like they did in the Watauga game and playing a more open on offense including some more players making plays on both sides of the ball then you saw in other games plus while not 100% but looked healthier then they looked since the first game.
I hope it carries into the playoffs and I believe it will.
