34-27 at the 3:15 mark and we had the ball to extend the lead.

4 turnovers, bad defense and just 4 points the rest of the half while allowing 9.

Friggin 2 point game game at half.

This team is not good.
We may win but yes, this team is bad.

Disagree, they dont know any better

MAYBe thats at it is. Definitely don’t see a team who wants to share the ball. Cal has nailed the problem. It’s all mental. We’ve got players. Maybe not elite but very very good. Between the ears

Tough tough conference...make free throws and the spread widens... I mean, 9 of 12 free throws is three points UK missed out on...

This shows how sad this season has become.

Happy to be up 2 at home against a terrible team.
They are an average team. Not like we are playing prairie view. Look at the stat sheet, it was an overall good half. They only had 4 turnovers themselves. We missed a few bunnies we could’ve made but it was a good half regardless of the score. What glaring mistakes did you see that make you think otherwise? Let me guess those 4 turnovers right? Was a poor 3 minute stretch, doesn’t define the half as a whole.

I’d point out some stretches of poor defense where guys didn’t rotate and they got easy layups. Biggest hole in the first half I saw.

the team just looks like team turmoil 3.0. They wont listen to Cal's coaching , they wont talk to each other on the court.... never the less pass each other the ball........

During half time I have been thinking about the days when we had a 9 or 10 point victory. Seems like forever. Will it ever happen again?

Jay saying Duke's defense has been better last couple games. Yeah, that happens when you play teams as bad offensively as Pitt, Miami and Wake. Anyway, their KP defensive ranking is still 82nd.

This is a very important half coming up, a loss tonight means the season is virtually over with a fourth straight loss on Saturday biding an upset. They need to win this game and have a decent to strong February which right now I don’t see happening.

People willfully forget the year after was one of the best Kentucky teams I've ever witnessed in 2003.

Starting to think these guys don't reallly care much for one another. That may be an issue? Apparently not the brightest bunch. Couple that with some good ole fashion "don't like each other" mentality - well, that's a recipe for disaster.

we had to get rid of the bad apples to do it though. 3 players kicked off the team and Fitch was told to he was on thin ice and next if he didnt watch himself

MJ has talked many times in past years about how much those teams got along and did everything together. Haven't heard that once about this squad.

At this point I think we have to go small. SGA- Diallo- Knox -PJ- Vanderbilt. Sub Green for SGA when needed. Gabriel and SKJ some spot minutes. Richards out of rotation. We don't block shots or even alter them anyway.

The real deal is when you have a team come out and play with the same level of intensity against an unranked team as they do the Louisville, UNC or Kansas games. Its always been an issue - but it seems the disparity is wider of late.

So Cal has to waste a timeout 1 minute into the 2nd half because again we're clueless. Ugh. This is not good at all.
