Rhule and his "system" has been exactly what he was before at other schools. A .500 coach. Not saying he is a bad guy, or even a bad head coach. But just like Riley, when you hire a .500 coach, and he goes 19-19 as both Riley and Ruhle did, you are getting exactly what you hired. Now that all the "year 3" banter is over and done with, I would expect that over the next five seasons ( he will be here at least that long due to his contract buyout ) he probably will be close to .500 overall. Next season likely will put him behind the 8 ball. I do not expect six wins but you never know. But I do think over the longer run, his record will be right at .500 and that is always who he has been. Do Husker fans want and expect more? Sure they do. But you have to realize that history often repeats itself. So far, it has.
