Am I crazy or is there a 0% chance he’s drafted?
Makes sense to get evaluated.
Going be a long summer of checking here for updates.
I think we all know how this is gonna go.
He won't get the feedback he wants, goes undrafted, but he wants to get paid,
so he goes overseas or to the G league.

Do you actually think that someone is actually going to draft this guy ? Some on hear think this guy is some sort of superstar. This guy is a very average player at best. He didn't even start at Creighton. He is not the guy that is going to turn the program around. If he is the best that Calipari can do the program will not be any better than it was last year.
Smart on his part. Every player should do this. It is free feedback from NBA personnel. If he doesn't hear what he wants to hear, hopefully he is smart enough to return and improve his draft stock for the following draft.
Par for the last 12 months of Kentucky basketball. Maybe a birdie.
Oh he is NOT the second coming but he was a pretty good college basketball player. He brings veteran leadership and made several big-time shots for the Cats last year. I hope he comes back.

The season has been over for weeks, he already knows what the feedback generally is. He is not getting drafted.
I 100% support Mintz's decision to obtain feedback and to learn more about the draft process. It would be irresponsible of him not to. But the roster uncertainty or contingency that arises between OAD and the transfer rule strikes me as one of the biggest challenges facing college coaching staffs right now.* There are just so many moving parts. And we as a fan base are going to have to learn the new timetables and get used to them, if we don't want to develop ulcers or pull our hair out. Once upon a time, the roster was set at signing day. Not anymore.
*Which is to say nothing about the new image/likeness opportunities. College basketball is now a free-agency sport. The whole landscape has been turned upside down in the last couple of years.

He would just go if that was the case. He isn’t going to work his way into the draft thru the work outs.
He's going to get evaluated (smart decision) to find out what he needs to work on next season that will increase his chances of playing pro.
It's a pretty goldarn big decision for him, he can and should take all the time and explore any options he wants to consider. No make a fast decision to placate anyone else, specially the keyboard warriors screaming we need good new right now or else.
Just recruit like he's not coming back. Get 2-3 more guards.
At the rate he makes decisions, he might be back here by 2035 for his final year of eligibility. What the hell has happened that’s turned Lexington Kentucky into a place nobody wants to come to to play ball? Don’t blame it on fans because fans suck everywhere. Same for Brooks, either you wanna be here or you don’t. This yearly Days of our Lives ******** drama is beyond ridiculous. Like a bunch of girls trying to decide who to go to the prom with. Well, he is obviously getting some feedback from someone that he has a shot, if not in the NBA, then he obviously has to figure out his next move. Especially at his age.
What will enhance his opportunity to make the NBA, another catastrophic year at UK ( which is possible if not likely), moving on to the G league and working on his craft hoping to improve, or going overseas and playing a few years there in hopes of getting back to the NBA someday?
Really is a difficult decision for him if you think about it and put yourself in his shoes.

Everyone has a shot...that’s the point of going thru the process but let’s be honest there are 60 better draft picks than him.
If he wanted to get paid then Cal would be honest with him and say you aren’t playing in the NBA next year but you can go play for overseas somewhere. Kid just taking advantage the process and don’t blame him but IMO he will be back. Been wrong before and I’ll be wrong again. I Just want to play the stay or go game haha
I don't think the players - even the ones who won't get drafted - want to play more than one year for Cal. I'm not sure why, but they are leaving more and more frequently.
Lol. How many kids has Cal been honest with, especially these marginally talented players, when it comes to advising them about the NBA?
Cal will support his decision even if he knows the kid is making a bad decision for himself. Players first.
The list is pretty long of the players that Cal should have advised that they needed to come back for at least another year, and didn't, even though Ray Charles could see they weren't ready for the NBA.
