I just want to know why these decisions are taking so long. Our season was done over a month ago. What exactly is Mintz waiting on?

Yeah the delay hurts IMO. If you are going to go, then that's fine but this hurts double if he still ends up leaving and we lost out on potential replacements because we didn't know better.
Then again .......I'm sure it's a big decision............maybe he's just not sure yet.
For sure it's a big decision for all these guys. But Mintz is kind of in a precarious situation. He's not likely to transfer, as he just did that once already (And I think I read that he doesn't want to transfer again anyways).. The NBA is off the table, so that really just leaves overseas or the possibility of maybe going to the G-League. But those choices are pretty weak IMO. He could be our starting PG (even if he's more of a combo) and could get 30 mpg.
He's already at the end of his college career, Askew is out of his way, and he's playing for an elite school, while being so close to getting his degree(s). IDK, I would have thought he'd have returned by now. Seems like a no-brainer.

Just seems like these type of guys running through the program have no concept of what a future really means and steps to plan for it outside of basketball because these type of guys are never going to cash. I came in this thread to find out info about Mintz because obviously I did not have any, which is why I came here. I just got tired of reading post after post of people changing the subject matter of the thread and injecting their disappointment in Cal. I did not call ANYONE out, I just stated we are getting off topic and the same ole same ole thread after thread is BS. I only personally called out a poster after they quoted me, not before. I never mentioned ONE poster by name in my original post. I may have been a little too over the top with my post, but damn it gets old, no matter the thread subject, people come in and make it their thread by posting their disdain for Cal, we get it, you are not happy with results, none of us are, but just slow down and quit killing EVERY thread with same post over and over. I will not apologize for my post, but I will for maybe being a little too stern in it. Can we just please stay on topic ? If there is a thread about the job Cal has done or what he needs to change, be my guest and post away and bash away, but keep it in those threads.
