No. I read it again. He doesn't mention NBA, pro, leaving Kentucky or anything. In fact, all he said was:
"before you make an opinion on another man... ask yourself would sacrifice as much as he did."
That's it. Absolutely nothing else I can see. Any assumption about his turning pro from that tidbit is pure garbage unless you have contact with the kid and have other info.

Again, overreaction to something that does not have anything to do with his decision. If heās, in fact, made a decision, why would he tease a cryptic IG note instead of just telling us his decision. There is nothing to gain by not announcing his decision in a direct manner.
Money. Heās 22 or 23 years old. Can earn 6 figures immediately. Likely now is the time to do it....

Also if you just use logic here, we have Wheeler, Frederick, Washington, Grady, and Allen at the 1,2 and 3. Grady, Wheeler and Frederick didnāt leave what they had to go somewhere and be the 8th-12th man. Washington didnāt turn down offers from other really good programs to come here and play spot minutes. All 4 of those guys are going to play heavy minutes. If Mintz came back...I just think thatās too many mouths to feed in the back court.
Allen will be good enough to give us those spot minutes when one of the 4 are in foul trouble or in case of an injury. Next season, with reasonable improvements, both Allen AND Frederick should be good enough to start.

uga sucks. Iowa is no UK. The only real talent there is tyty. Allen has been around and could have a break out year but no way in hell are those 5 enough and talented enough to split time on 5 positions. This is a very watered down back court. Some good players maybe tyty can be great but the thing with transfer is know what youāre getting and Iām not excited about either Fredrick or wheeler. We need mintz. He was coming on strong late and if he picks up there we would be good if not it will be a long season. The sec is stacked in terms of talent. Make no mistake mintz is a big piece for success next season

Whether those guys are really good enough or not is another conversation. Wheeler, Frederick and Grady didnāt leave starting and 30 minutes a game to go somewhere else and hardly play. Thatās going to be our back court next year for better or worse.
Im actually with you that we needed more to be a contender. But itās not happening. Jmo.
Have to get a better player anyways. Like a Star to reclass if we want to win the title. Or lose in the Sweet 16 like some wouldn't mind with what we have.
