Last season there was a thread that discussed "sleeping giants" and Minooka came up. I'll agree I think Minooka WAS a sleeping giant that woke up in the playoffs. Woke up when they defeated the most recent giant to wake up, and [edit] runners up of the WSS, York. Yes Minooka followed that up with a tough loss to LWE, but we've all been there.

Minooka I believe returns a lot of starters including the QB some WRs and are always BIG on the lines and athletic in the skills. I can tell you this is a program eager to make the transition from waking giant to iron fisted tyrant.

Agree for the most part but the SWSW race will be very good this season....and I can see truly a 4-5 team race.

To me, the wild card is Oswego’s line play. They have some key returners and they always seem to find guys. They have a lot of experience coming back in the offensive skills side

Maybe the toughest SWSW race I can remember in awhile...with Nook Oswego Oswego E and Yorkville....I say 6-3/5-4 for the Nook.

There are quite a few people that think Plainfield North is going to be really good to
