I'm going further off the reservation. The difference in team speed in this game will be obvious. Nebraska learned it can come back from a deficit while realizing it shouldn't have allowed it to be so close in the first place. Raiola knows he got away with slinging some crap around the back yard. Holgorsen is feeling a little more confident and we're seeing some new wrinkles. Butler has shown the ability to adjust on the fly. I like it.

Big win.

Huskers come out flat and start slow. Seemingly forgetting that Minnesota has won the last five times and four in a row in Minnesota. But Dana & Dylan find out a way to get to 30 points again and Nebraska's special teams is no longer a joke.

31-20 Nebraska.

Gopher's schedule is embarrassingly bad so far, and their D has still been atrocious, its a special kind of bad.

This game should not be close if we're half as good as we think we are.

It shouldn't be, but I can't escape the feeling that all the warning bells and sirens are going off that this could be a letdown game. WHY? I don't know, it just feels like it. Too many distractions coupled with the team acting like it won the Super Bowl after the Maryland game.

24-19 Huskers. God it would be nice to win a conference game in a blowout.

I tend to agree. Having played Maryland, and now we get 4 more games before the team gets a bye. Meanwhile, both USC and UCLA have a bye week prior to the NU game, so our schedule works against us.

EJ wants to set the tone, he has all the motivation in the world and this will allow Dylan and WR crew to feast... I think Dana game plans on this
Defense is coming into its own and I don't see their QB doing what Malik did last week... I see the Defense getting back to making throwing QB's look silly again and their run game isn't anywhere close to where it should be... it's a night game on primetime and so they will be fired up but I have to believe Nebraska makes a statement on Friday

My more positive thoughts are that both the MSU and Maryland games were mini letdown games because we played like dogcrap in the third quarters. Hopefully the team is motivated to play a complete game and bury someone. We'll see!
