There are a bunch of games on hold for TV reasons right now.

If I have to go to Wrigley at night, I'm gonna kick some network exec in the sac

Game time/network will be released late Saturday night.

it appears FOX might take Oregon/USC (obviously not at noonET/9PT) creating a domino reshuffling.

Are Northwestern games counted in the Cubs allotment of annual night games, meaning that the Minnesota game would not kick at 6pm or later local time?

Thought that BIG tried to avoid night games in NOV

I would say not. There weren't any concerns raised when they had nighttime hockey last year. That said I would be shocked if it's a full fledged night game.

So did most of the league until they actually read the contract between the networks and the Big Ten. Many league members actually believed that NBC was paying hundreds of millions of dollars for a Big 10 Saturday night TV package that was going to stop after the first Saturday in November

Michigan and Ohio State don’t have to play after DST ends. Given OSU’s fan base disappointment over Noon games, OSU (with a new AD in charge) is happily playing this Saturday against UCLA in the ‘shoe. OSU also played one “for the team” in 2023 when Gene Smith was still AD.

The dynamic of OSU’s fans being furious at Fox for constantly being the noon game when it was their own AD keeping them out of night games for years was pretty funny

People. They aren’t good. And they don’t have a rabid fan base in Chicago (or anywhere else, frankly, their Big Ten games are usually a third empty) It’s a great opportunity. I Expect Victory.
It might be in the best interest of the program for them to win. Remember a win probably cements Braun is back for 2026.
I’ll be rooting for Fleck.
