Mills and Bland

Word on Mills and Bland both are their grades.
Recall that JUCO's don't necessarily care about having their students ready to go by December, which is what Nebraska prefers. Mills is waiting on a few transcript "anomalies" to be figured out, while Bland may or may not qualify.
I would expect Mills to be here sooner rather than later. He's 100% Nebraska and just trying to get it all sorted out ASAP.

I could be wrong, but I think Mills can enroll for the spring semester even if he doesn't sign now as long as he qualifies academically. He then just signs a financial aid agreement with NU I think and signs a letter of intent when the other late signees do.

If he doesn't get his transcript issues figured out soon, then that could be a problem.
I don't think its a huge deal. He's coming to Nebraska, and he's a big *** dude who is ready to rock and roll. I think dinglefritz is right; its a matter of "when" stuff clears out with him.
Bland is the one I'd be worried about.
Sean Callahan expects Mills to still sign this week. They are just sorting a few things out to be certain it is a go.
Even if we have to wait till fall camp Bland is a potential starter and a player we could use from the get go..
Was wondering about them as well. It's pretty important for Mills to make it in for spring if they want him to take over for Ziggy. I hope they take Bland even if he doesn't make it in for the spring.
Bland just might be the most important piece of the puzzle in this recruiting class. We need him bad.
In his press conference this afternoon Frost said he still expected to sign a couple of guys, maybe even as early as yet today.
I was hoping maybe he had inside on Pola-Gates. But that may be a January wait game.
Not very from what I can tell. Think he visited FL State after our commit, and there are doubts he can get here by January, so we may not have him in the class
Have to disagree with this. I like Bland quite a bit (short OLinement who are athletic and strong enough to play OT despite not being that big or tall are he kind of guys we want, as he can move bodies and get out in space and move as well), but that said, we have a lot of options on the OL and another year of Austin along with Ellis/Duval is going to make a big, big difference
Boe Wilson played really well at OG
Hixson looked good just about every time I saw him. I thought Raridan had potential and there are several of the younger guys who haver been coming around. I don't think that Farniok is a great candidate for OG myself, but some also think he moves inside. Jurgens may take time to be ready at Center,
He did not (probably same situation as us wanting him in the Spring)
I wouldn't expect anything to happen for NPG until that Poly Bowl game although apparently he ruled out Alabama as not a fit for him.
Mills was arrested a couple weeks ago for Failure to Appear in Court for driving with a suspended license. I'm guessing that is the hold up:
