as long as we are speculating ... is there any chance that Miles, knowing he is going to be let go, has another job lined up, and the university benefits if he decides to leave rather than be fired.

you're bothered by a post? why are you here if you don't like posters posting?
But seriously, honest question: you're bothered by dot, dot, dot? I mean, you WERE bitching about Scarlet's post. So.......?

The season is less than 48 hours from over and you're calling it Pedersonesque?
Pederson fired Solich less than 48 hours after the season was over. He didn't leave him twisting in wind by his balls. I think it will all turn out just fine, and I'm not crying a river for Miles. He's fine, and will be fine.

Pelini was also fired less than 48 hours after the season ended.
Sadler fired the next day.

Hope you are wrong. But who knows at this point? Hopefully this will all be resolved in the next 48 hours

Trust me I don’t want this either...But i’ve Heard somethings that make me think other wise not to mention that TM hasn’t been let go yet and it is 1:00 pm on Tuesday a day after the season been over..

This is quite plausible. It's out of the realm of possibility that Miles was unaware Moos was looking to make a move.

Given that, I would be shocked if he hasn't been looking or even have something lined up.

I think Moos handled the Riley / Frost transition with professionalism, and about as well as you can handle that kind of thing, so will be surprised if this one is handled any differently.

it's a passive aggressive way of writing that I find to be mildly annoying, yes.

in other news, Bill Moos, man of integrity, passion and will to win, is about to send Miles packing & ring in a new chapter of Nebrasketball that will hopefully be a successful one.

here's hoping he's clinking glasses with Hoiberg's agent tonight!

Why hasn't someone created a new post that says...

"Tim Miles Fired..."

in the Subject Line, and..

"..up about his future in college basketball.."

in the Body of the post? :D

Darn that Bill Moos for putting a gun to our collective heads and convincing us that it was absolutely essential that Miles be gone within 24 hours of the last NIT game. Why oh why did he do that?

I know. It's less than 48 hours after our last game, and Moos has been getting skewered by the national media.

"Nebraska doesn't deserve Tim Miles."

All I can say is...Thank God we're not worthy of Tim Miles.

I find it interesting that a program that is supposedly so irrelevant is getting so much attention from the national media.

@scarletred so when's the AD announcement coming? and have you submitted your resume to replace Moos? I hear the job needs to be posted for a week at least so you have time if not.

This was actually hilarious reading all of the “something feels wrong here” posts from all these overbearing mothers on here haha. 2 WHOLE DAYS and NOTHING!? Patience people...patience
It’s almost as if Miles wanted to meet with his team one last time before the firing hit the press, and Moos allowed it - the heartless bastard!

Are you butt hurt over the speculation? Heard from people that know boosters about not being happy about a occurrence that happened during a game...
And I’m leaving it at that people in the know what I’m talking about...

With Bounds resigning and I was just wondering if this had any effect what was going on..
