jerry removed his crystal ball prediction so appears not to be going well
If Mark Pope loses Momcilovic to Louisville, this will be his last season. He absolutely CANNOT afford to whiff here. If he does, it’s over. Everyone knows it. He will know it. We’d be in a very weird position for next season to essentially be a countdown.

he hasnt made a new prediction. just pulled the one he made. but at the end of the day it doesnt matter....the head coach of kentucky should not have this much difficulty attracting talent.
I agree. He’s gotten some good predictions right but he’s also been wrong a ton. I don’t think anyone knows, but it’s not good. Shouldn’t take this long anyway.

To be honest...I don't feel good about this. I don't have any inside information at all. It just feels like a scenario I've heard before...that maybe his heart is pulling him one way but the money is also very tempting. In cases like that, his family might just tell him to follow his gut because ultimately they just want him to be happy(he'll be fine financially either way).. If the rumors were true about us having the highest NIL offer, then that might not be in our favor in the hypothetical scenario I just mentioned.

Milan is the guy I have really wanted all along, so hopefully we can pull it off. The delayed decision is just making me nervous. If it was just about money, then I think we would have known by now.
If it's about perception of a potential title, then unfortunately Pope doesn't give that vibe. Louisville just went all in with the perception of wanting to win, and it goes there Pope's seat will be glowing orange hot.

I called you a dickhead a few posts ago but you are spot on. Well said.

It is the beginning of the end of Pope if we lose this kid. He had this season to prove he could do the job and he really needed MM to assist with that.
Same was said for when he whiffed on Stokes. Pope will be here as long as he wants. He'll get babied until he retires and always have a excuse for 14 losses or more. 9th seeds in the SEC tournament..

Then you have people that try to make that sound good.
