If we lose him to Louisville man. Just fire him now. I’m dead serious. He’s had enough strikes. He absolutely can not lose Milan at this stage of the game. Once again this recruitment is playing out like every other major one this cycle.
and to be very, crystal clear, this has not happened at any other school with this many high profile players that were essentially locked up. This is 100% an outlier with Pope and Kentucky right now. And also a reminder Pope got 0 high school recruits this cycle (not counting mason williams or zyon hawthorne).

Said the same thing. I’m torn on wanting him to come and maybe us being decent but I don’t want pope extended. That experiment failed.

Respect bro, that would make you 2/2 if it went down like that.
I appreciate it. My friend is pretty well connected to UL. He's a good dude other than being a UL fan. I hope the UL staff is wrong on this one. But of the two, Kelsey seems to read the room way better than Pope. And either way, Rainmaker is still a phony and a fraud.

This always seems to be issue with Pope. We make the biggest offer, but the top guys always seem to wait and wait just hoping another offer gets close enough so they won't have to pick Kentucky. If he really wanted to come here, then it should have been a done deal by now with us having the top offer. If that gap is getting closed, then I don't like the apparent trend.

If we can't get a non guarantee second NBA draft drop out kid to come here for 7M then it is over for us until change is made. That same kid would have broke Cal's arm to grab 4M from him. It is a disaster whether he comes or not. If this was not the NIL area then we would be bottom 5 SEC.
This is extremely accurate...unfortunately.

If numbers are true. You have a kid considering choosing UL over UK with UK offering a million dollars more. It’s absolutely about recruiting ability.
Because Matt Jones said?
PS. He said the difference has closed to under a mill.

It was widely and publicly reported by many people, national people, that Kentucky had a higher offer for Wright, Stokes, Milan, etc. That's not my fault if you don't believe that.

Also, skepticism itself and baiting people to pull direct numbers and reference out, on the spot, is not an argument and seems to be your default. Essentially your default way of arguing is "Quote the exact details right now or you're wrong." Not a reasonable way to engage in discussion.

It still would make no sense to me for him to go anywhere other than UK. He would be the highest profile player on a resurgent (hopefully) UK team and would be a legit All-American candidate because of it. If he wanted to increase his exposure for the next draft, that would be one hell of a way to do it.

His role would be diminished on a UL team. Would make no sense to go there.

This whole thing has reflected how far UK has fallen as a program. People are freaking out about a guy who makes us a sweet 16 team.

Thats not on Mom as he's a good piece but pope's massive failures with the rest of the roster prevent a proper ceiling.
Let me get this straight. None of us have seen this team play together, so we have no idea how well the “fit” will be. Also, at least on paper, this team look’s better than Pope’s first team (that went to a S16). But you, in your all-knowing wisdom, say that even if we get MM we are no better than Pope’s first team?

Can you share next week’s power all numbers and the winner of the 2027 Super Bowl while you‘re at it?

I don't have to believe it. It's all pure speculation. Mostly legend grown here.

Just reading this reinforces a truth about the pope era in particular, I think a lot of this fanbase is willinv to tune out a whole bunch in hopes to win a game in march or two

Which I think is outrageous, a big reason why Pope is on the hotseat is because oc the fact that his playstyle will put anyone to bed, and his rosters lack juice that a top program should have
