I haven't been able to listen to Severe for several years. I always enjoyed him before when I could pull in his station. 1620's signal strength dropped in our area a couple of years ago for some reason.

You know their show is free on many podcast sites like Spotify etc. In 2022 you dont even need a radio signal.

I use Tune In app to listen to listen to Nebraska radio shows. Run it through Apple car play when in the car or on my IPad when at home.

Severe was ok, the afternoon USC show makes me want to stick a fork in my ears. I really do like Gary Sharpe. He is intelligent, speaks with a purpose and has a sense of humor. I like Benning too. Its a small market so your choices are limited, but for the size of market Omaha is, having these shows its pretty good, again except for USC. Sick

You need a radio signal if you want listen while you're working with your tractor..... It's a nice distraction to make the day go faster. I rarely pull up podcasts in town. I'm not that enamored with Mike'l or Damon.

Where the hell did Schaefer go on 93.7? He used to have a show on after the early show, and he was one of the few actually worth listening to. Just checked their programming and it is DP from like 8 - 11. And then Vershan Jackson from 11 - 2? DP is simply awful, but I think he is maybe the programming director? Has anyone listened to Jackson before? Didn't even know he was in broadcasting. Is this just another stick a former player in a spot and hope it draws enough listeners because he is a former player, or has he been doing this for a while, but just in another locale?

93.7 was good. Massive changes the first of the year. They will be off the air in a year.

He definitely inserted his politics multiple times to the point that I stopped listening. I don't care what your politics are, keep them out of sports. Inserting politics into every form of escapism that we have from the day to day drudge makes life depressing.

Kinda think you really do care if the politics dont match your views then that is what makes it unlistenable

Mike'l wasn't bad, just didn't mix well with Damon and also I grew tired of his Covid talk. Talk about sports, that is what you are there for.

Covid has definitely been part of sports (and everything). Don’t understand criticizing him over that.

If you have a cell phone signal use your phone pull up 1620 a listen with earbuds unless you still have a flip phone
