I loved the way Mike Williams played. At some point you have to ask yourself where do you see yourself in 5-10 years. Not sure professional basketball is a good idea. I hope I am wrong here.

It's a really cool life experience, he's already got his college degree, and he gets to cash a paycheck playing basketball. I think it's a great idea.

What? 2 of my friends played Euro Ball. One played for 9 years and the other for 2 years. They both loved it and are now assistant D1 coaches. Not bad getting paid playing the game you love. And even if he lasts a year or two, what a great experience.

Had a coworker whose son played quite a few years overseas. Also had one year, primarily on the bench, for Timberwolves. Thoroughly enjoyed the experiences abroad.

I think any years overseas can be beneficial for these kids. Mostly from how it helps them off the court grow as a person.

Good luck, #5. Just a kid from Brooklyn! A positive influence to many!

Except if he wants to give it a shot, now's the time. You don't want to be asking yourself what if 5 to 10 years from now.

Maybe I am too practical. Maybe I have it wrong. Maybe he will be playing in England and going to school, working, or interning somewhere while he plays.

He'll be a coach in basketball in no time. Pikiell's already said he can work under him any time he wants
