The guys words and demeanor are so similar to donavon it's crazy. Looking like he's gonna keep Florida at a high level. Great for the sec.

Seems to be a very good coach. Needs to prove it as a recruiter.
Tubby and Billy say "Hi"What if one day he were at a place that pretty much recruits itself with its name?
Those days are over and have been since the nineties , it's all about who's the coach and very little about the program name . Fans don't like to think that but it's true , times have changed .What if one day he were at a place that pretty much recruits itself with its name?
If Indiana got in a situation where the coaches on their list said no thanks, and they were stuck, he'd be a good bailout option.I have said since the hire, they got a good one. Anyone hoping they'd suck with him are dreaming. He's a damn good coach who will be at a blue blood one day if he can recruit. That's all he's lacking right now.
Its all about the coach at first, then the intangibles come in to play, facilitates, campus/town life, housing. Its like folks said even before Cal got to UK, just imagine what he will do there, is what the talk was and its true. Those days are over and have been since the nineties , it's all about who's the coach and very little about the program name . So far his recruiting sucks, at least on paper. Lucked out getting Barry as a 5th year guy, not a lot of recruiting a guy like that. I suspect UF will slip a little in the next few years.

He'd win with what they have (assuming they can maintain roster) and has enough coaching acumen to win with talent in, and around, the state.
Not what they want, but a good emergency guy. Better then ours in Gillispie.
He was going to have an even better class at Memphis with the kid who's name I can't remember but went to Kansas . It has helped Cal some I will agree but it's a small part , if it was that big of a deal then we should have pulled far more talent than we did under our previous two coaches . When Cal leaves you'll see our recruiting take a potential massive drop if we don't land a top recruiter .Its all about the coach at first, then the intangibles come in to play, facilitates, campus/town life, housing. Money. The chance to be an icon at one of basketballs more historic basketball brands. And why would he leave Florida for IU!? Lmao!

He would be way down their list, but as a bailout option he'd be really good.
Imagine if they play each other. Is his dad the dUKe AD?
They are bigger brand and a much better job than Florida. They haven't been good, that's a different argument. They haven't been a brand for a while..., other than as a spot coaches go to die.
Donovan proved what can be done at Florida. White's got a good thing going. Plus, I think he has Florida roots and a bunch of young kids. Dude ain't going to Bloomington!

He isn't a realistic option so it's a senseless conversation and you seem too incompetent to understand.
I actually made a statement earlier. It was in response to someone else and mentioned him as a bailout option for IU. It wasn't open ended and had a definitive end.....Says the guy who initiated the "senseless conversation".
Genius.

I highlighted your post about White having potential to be a blueblood coach someday and me agreeing and saying he could be an emergency option for IU if they were screwed. What's the "senseless conversation?"

Which means the players don't care nowhere near as much about the school benefits as fans do , who think what they value is what the players will care about too . Fans want to stay in school forever because it's their program , most of the better recruits care about making a living by a large margin and they'll pick a school with much less benefits to get with the coach they prefer .
Tired and butchered this post
I highlighted your post about White having potential to be a blueblood coach someday and me agreeing and saying he could be an emergency option for IU if they were screwed.
It wasn't meant to be conversation at all. It was a statement.
That was what I was getting at and I agree.IU could do a lot worse than White. He's gonna be a good one if he can recruit. And if he can recruit and they caught him early, they'd have a good one for the next 25 years. High risk high reward I guess in that scenario.
Not too senseless really. If names started falling off their list like wildfire he might even be considered.

You highlighted the post and asked, "Why would he leave Florida for IU?" By doing so it was you that created conversation. It was senseless because it isn't a realistic scenerio and your use of "lmao", and misuse of an ellipsis, exposed your ceiling.
You're not good at this.
You asked "why" to a statement I made, a dead ended statement. That was the initiation of conversation because it is what "initiated" it, with "it" being conversation. So I initiated the "senseless conversation" by asking a "why?" to earlier YOUR suggestion.
Gotcha!
You may want to look up the definition of "initiate".
And I'm the one who is not good at this?
What's the "senseless conversation?"

It was "senseless" because it wasn't a realistic scenerio, at this time, and not worth discussion. Especially with you and your discussion ability.
You really do have s**t for brains don't you? Sharpen your pencil before coming back please.

You can talk basketball around here as long as youre UK blind and never mention anything potentially positive (directly or indirectly) about any team that has any history at all.
