MidState 3A Predictions

Eastern Alamance and Western Alamance have had excellent football programs for years. This season should be no different as they appear to be the 2 predicted to come out on top in the Mid-State 3A conference. Both have some solid talent. Both should be undefeated when they match up in October.

So who will come out on top?

Western has the two best playmakers in this conference and six guys who will be going into their third year as varsity starters. Their only issue is depth and their schedule is so weak that a lot of those non-starters will get a ton of playing time.
Conference title is between Western and Eastern and I give the edge to Western this year. They will be 9-0 heading into that game, if they aren't then something is wrong because their schedule is very very weak. Not a bad thing, just the way it is when your county won't let you play tough OOC opponents so that you can beat Graham by 70.
Would love to matchup again with WA in a state title game...ConnerP is somewhere on here. ConnerP you won't like this highlight

It's ok Cougs. You can confess your sins the next time you go see the Father. Still say possession before momentum carried him out. Doesn't matter though as the call Stands. Notice I didn't say is confirmed. Great game... would love to see a rematch because could probably only happen again in the same setting.

As for the conference... yes, these should be the top 2 teams.

The O-Line this year Not like years in the past the line is very athletic and avg. about 275, Eastern's not happy about what the Western coach said about the numbers (he would rather have quality than quantity This group has 67 players and 36 seniors returning that went undefeated in middle school and 9th and tenth grade , So do not sleep on them.

Tough call. I'll take Eastern just to balance things out.

What I'm more interested in seeing is how spots 3-5 will turn out. Also interested in seeing if Person can have a significant impact on this conference.

Watch #76 6'5 280 has a 32 vertical jump and has run a sub 5 40 not bad for a tackle . has 17 D! offers. We should be able to see on Hudl tonight the Page Eastern scrimmage.

Your right about about the Middle School I checked ..but in 2014 23-20 eastern and at your home in 2015 it was a spanking 40-26.As far as crying Western has the most classless fans!!!!!My Wife got spit on last year and That's real class. I am 55 years old and their was no room on the visitors side so we had to sit on the Home side we got taunted the whole time . We will see what happens on the field!!

Hey man! No where in my post did I say I was a western fan. As a matter of fact I go to a different mid state game every Friday depending on match ups etc. Also no where in my post did I get personal about anything so calm down.It's terrible that people do classless things like that but unfortunately that crap happens everywhere. I agree with you on western's schedule for sure but EA has the exact same schedule since they are in the same conference and have to play the exact same county teams out of conference so I see no advantage to either team in that regard.
