Wow, I may lose my crown.I think there is some merit to what he is saying.We looked like heros in a watered down tournament. Essentially the Midlands are riding the coat tails of a reputation long gone.

I love SCW’s motor, solid performance from Catka and Cotton, I think Barbosa has the brightest future of our freshman’s. Harer got a nice win off k. Miller. Idk what happened to Clark… he ended last year strong and now… yeah .. burnt out? Give Shawver his flowers for finishing whole tourney but people like to make excuses like bigger talent people and he’s resorting back to what he truly always has been but can we just get the old Shawver back?
His next match is Blaze which is a nightmare matchup for Shawver. Hes either gonna get techd or if he comes with his A game, majored. Hopefully he brings his A game and gains some confidence. If he gets ragdolled, could this be another Barr/Poz situation where he packs it in?
How in the world are these situations similar? Poz had like 5 concussions and should have hung it up well before that match even happened. But please do keep telling us how much they are an awesome team. We could never figure that out on our own. FREEDOM!

Miserable and/or enjoys trying to make others miserable. What a way to live. Congrats to our team who did something never done before.
Sad to say, this will be our last year as well after 14 yrs.. There's no excitement. I was ready to poke my eyes out during the Oklahoma match. At times I just held my head in my hands and said, "Jesus, will somebody please shoot". It's now become a chore to get to matches.
Younger Harar, Knox (?) and a few Knox could attract...would that help change your mind?
Definitely could, but right now we're taking a break for a year and see how it goes. It's not hard to get season tickets in the lower 200's. At some point this is supposed to be entertainment and it just hasn't been.
I'll renew my season tickets one more time and if things don't change I'm done. I have no faith that we can develop a good high school wrestler and develop him into a solid B10 competitor. I've seen to many promising wrestlers fall flat after 1 or 2 years and I don't expect that to change. I see no reason why top recruits should come to the banks.
