Our #1 hope, but if it doesn't work out I would have to believe Trev is receiving alot of apps from head coaches not in the Big 10 or SEC wanting to get in and get in on the $$$$. With that said I would think the following might be willing to jump:
The Utah coach
Gundy
Malzhan
Narduzzi

In the Big 10:
Bielema
Schiano

I would never rule out Kiffin no matter what anybody says. It's always someone you never think of

I’m all in on Mickey. I want nothing more than Mickey to be the coach next year. But he has to earn it and I think he just might.

little things that I’m picking up about him. Moving up an interview so he could go watch a recruit. Sadly we didn’t read stuff like that about Frost. Mickey will work. So I’m all in on Joesph. He might not win this week but love he gets a bye week after this. I could see us bowling under him. Especially if we get healthy. Bowling with this team get him the job next year in my opinion

I’m thinking this too. Deep down I hope Mickey gets it. I’ve been wrong on every other hire so I’ll just hope I’m right for once. But it seems he has some grit. He still has that scrappy, hungry character that can really drive success. If he does have that combination of grit, scrap and hungry then he absolutely can and will succeed. I’m just hoping for lightning in a bottle with MJ.

I also happen to find it hard to believe that Frost hired him. We’ll never know, but if TA had a hand in the hire then it was intentional.

It's a career killing position so most under 65 aren't interested.

didn't the coach before frerentz literally die like seconds after he retired?

from the looks of ol' buddy kurt on saturday, he won't be far behind

seems to me iowa is a coach killing job. literally.

TO has lived a second entirely full life after leaving NU with his 3 national titles and hall of fame bust

It will be interesting to see who succeeds Ferentz. I would bet that he will insist that his son Brian replace him, and I bet that he gets his way. That should scare Hawkeye fans to death.

you say Nebraska is a career killer

I say iowa is a literal coach killer (the iowa coach before KF died instantly after retiring. so, too, will KF)

what about this do you not understand?

Yep, its gonna be the K-State/Snyder struggle all over again. I think KF knows BF will never get the job so he's going to spend his last fews years punishing Iowa fans with the worst offense in history. Seems like something he'd do.
