This would be most welcome news.

Still think the plan is to give Scott two years if we go bowling.

It strikes me as strange to hire position coaches before a coordinator, but what do i know

Coordinator could be a done deal, but not released until after this weekend's games? Or any OC would be crazy not to want Mickey?

I think they have their OC and he's probably a junior guy who would necessarily not be in position or even want to demand bringing a whole staff with. Might even appreciate having NU provide him at least this one stellar hire.

That dude who predicted Joseph to NU a few days ago citing his sources and later admitted he was talking out of his *** should have stuck it out

if you are going to guess - you might as well sound and remain confident just in case you turn out to be right

The other option is if it's someone like Chad Morris...I think he'd approve of this if it were part of the plan.

Kelly was making decisions today on who he wanted to keep at LSU. So it's possible MJ wasn't part of the plan or he didn't think Kelly was a good fit for him. Just glad to have MJ on board.

Makes sense the new OC is finishing up obligations with another team? If so, I am sure he is involved with any other hires.

FWIW, the regional CFB talk show (Chuck Oliver) thought that the best guy for Kelly to keep off the current staff would be Corey Raymond.

so do we send large suitcases of legal nil cash to mickey's house so he can start recruiting the sec and sec portals?

and I don't see the nil donations page on huskers.com? is this a technical hold up? seems also like it should have different sections like qb, tackles, kicker..etc..to direct the donated funds as need dictates

seems like in all the futuristic UNL ad during games, we could have a few star players on there making advertising money. selling that there new unl/dekalb corn seed.

Apparently he has to be employed for 72 hours first before he can recruit. Or is that just on the road. Can probably talk to those on campus and via social media?

Football Scoop? They used to be the junkiest source and would publish any runor on the internet? Very real chance that their story is based off of the guy who admitted to making it up. Unless they’ve improved the quality of their ‘reporting in the last few years.

World-Herald, Journal-Star, and Rivals are all reporting it
