Thank you for taking over. You have little or no shot to win the job but you did it anyway because you love NU. With the lack of talent on this team, we have to wait until next year.

Offense is fine...fire Chins or at least tell him to quit running patty cake defensive schemes.

Mickey's brother is a DC in the NFL currently. I'll take him.

Premature. All he's shown so far is that he's a good recruiter.

usually there's a nice dead cat bounce (stock term - look it up, poors) for programs immediately following a firing/interim taking over

I really hope the points keep creeping up toward OU & wouldn't at all be shocked to see us play well on Sat (defense included)

I feel sorry for MJ…his first big gig and he is handed the 2022 version of Nebraska. Hope he does well, and I hope it boosts his career whether it is here in the future or somewhere else.

Playing OU for your first test is a tough draw

Point is… long overdue for change… if not a husker legend he would have been canned in year 2 or 3

I think those who said if you can’t turn it around in year 2 you won’t get it turned around and I was in that camp. nothing but rah rah rhetoric about how how great the kids are and how hard they worked since day 1 yet the cancer never left because the real cancer were the coaches apparently

and this 2nd year benchmark….that’s been a huge benchmark for success or failure after that 2nd year

probably very true. The lightening game was a foretelling. Colorado the next week was an exclamation point. I thought last year, many time we were a football team. But we just did not recruit the type of OL and DL needed to play big boy football.
