Gosh they finally get there coach after they got enough coaches pay raises... [roll]Considering he could never win in round one of the tournament Calipari will have plenty of years to catch them!!!!!

Hmm...crazy that it took so many choices to find a coach. Cronin will get some mileage there. He may get them in the top 25 consistently. He was decent at Cincinnati. Like someone else eluded to, I don’t see it as a long term relationship.

One of those hires that does not strike fear into any team in the country. I remember that ucla troll who was running his mouth off here, when Cals name was brought up, and all the smack he talked. Wonder how he’s feeling about having Cronin as the next head coach [laughing]

Now he's got a gnome coach who also hates UK.

That would be interesting.
This late in the game....that may be their only option.

Kennedy is a good hire that you can sell and he has ties to Cincy (unless he burned bridges on the way out?).

If not...they may not be able to get a decent guy this late in the game.

I think there's a good chance Brannen from NKU will be UC's next coach!

That’s great. Cincinnati won more games than the entire PAC-12 this year. Ya know?

Has to be odd to hear they offered RB $5M last night. Wonder if he even gets half?

ESPN said 6 years/$24mil so he’s not getting the same offer as RB but it’s definitely overpaying IMO. Desperate times call for desperate measures I guess.

Won't have to worry about UCLA for awhile. Won't be hearing much from them.

He has to know he has a short rope, maybe he thinks it will look good on his resume even if it doesn't last but two years.

His personality, style of play, you name it is about the complete opposite that UCLA should have. Either a big time personality like a Pearl, Calipari, Pitino (UK days), or a slick, stylish, guy like Jay Wright. Or at least someone that plays a flashy style of basketball. The Wofford coach would have been better, since the NBA is all about three pointers and that could resonate with all those Pro sports fans out there.

Alright, we should have plenty of time to reach #12 now.

11 NCS...still chasing them. Suppose to have caught them my now:basketball::basketball::boxing::cool2:[cheers]:chairshot::raised_hands::thumbsdown::smiley::sunglasses::scream:
Yeah, but times have changed. Until organized betting is removed from college sports (basketball in general), it may be a while.
