And if he pulls a statue Petras that’s not going to bode well… receivers need to get quick separation and Hank needs to be spot on either way sage passes…like some sideline passes then loosen that defense up and throw a few down the field passes… the line needs to block like never b4 as he needs time to setup in the pocket

The sweet spot on this D is in-between the LBs and the safeties. Our LBs have been a little better than expected but still show their inexperience. They tend to be too aggressive towards the LOS and don't get into their drops quick enough. OU saw this and its where they got most of their yards (especially chunk) in the air.

Also, even though it is extremely difficult to run on this DL don't give up on it to the point of being stubborn. We play mostly man and while our DBs are quite good they are also not afraid to come up to support the run. If you hit one deep it will likely be on play action while fooling one of our DBs allowing your WR to run free.

PP will make sure to not give up the big play. That’s been his calling card for years. Our DBs won’t be fooled by the play action because they’ll still hang back. Would rather give up a 4 yd run than a 56 yd pass completion.
