We go into Ann Arbor with the Wolverines having won seven of their last eight, tied for first in the B1G, and ranked 13/15 nationally. Their only loss was two Michigan State at home which they lost by double digits. Their six wins have all been close calls. Can’t check the numbers right now, but I’m pretty certain that each game has been won by six points or under. That is, going into the final couple of minutes, those games could’ve gone either way. To their credit, Michigan has won every one of them. Just to say that there’s a very good chance That Rutgers will be close with Michigan going down to the wire. They’re a team that’s experienced and knows how to win. We haven’t really proven that yet, but will certainly have a chance to do so on Thursday evening.

Michigan doesn't really blow anyone out but they tend to lead the majority of the game and are unable to pull away.

I'd be surprised if Michigan blows out Rutgers, but I'd be also surprised if Rutgers actually won.

I'm a little grumpy that Michigan had the mother of all awful shooting nights last night vs Nebraska ... what are the odds they shoot like that 2 games in a row? I think they shot something lie 26% from the field, and 5-28 or 6-28 from 3.

Michigan beat us 66-63 without Dylan and Ogbole. They were able to swarm Ace to both deny the ball and make his life difficult when he got the ball. They won't be able to do that with Dylan in the game, so this should be an interesting matchup.

Also, hopefully Ogbole can provide 10-15 minutes to put a bigger body on Vlad in the paint.

I agree on Bailey they won't be able to cover nearly as aggressively now that Dylan is back. UCLA and USC seemed to try something similar and Harper dominated.

Hopefully Ogbole can give some good minutes but I wouldn't count on it and I hope he has a short leash. Martini did very well on Goldin last game and I can see him giving Ogbole fits.

Related to the game, not Michigan ... did anyone notice that Nebraska scored just 46 points - and Brice Williams had 26 of those 46 points? In a losing cause. Kinda reminiscent of Ace Bailey scoring 39 points of RU's 74 points in a loss to Indiana ... though the futility of the other Nebraska players was more epic. Brice Williams was 9-21 FG ... the rest of Nebraska was 7-41 FG

Their 8 last wins by 4 or less. They have been out scored over their last 10 but are 8-2 in those 10 games

Martini also got a pretty generous whistle in guarding Vlad (who was also battling the flu). Would be surprised if thats replicable on the road

Michigans offense has really struggled since me January when it looked like one of the best offenses in the country.

If Michigan only scores 66 again against Rutgers, it will likely lose.

Just have to hope their putrid shooting from the Nebby game carries over to Thursday night.
Both Michigan and Nebraska not only shot putrid. They both played like putrid. Worst game I have watched all year. Usually a team rebounds from a real bad performance with a better performance but usually not an A performance. They were a C- D performance at Nebraska and hope they only go to B-C.

Rutgers is 2 games removed from at horrible listless effort vs Iowa and at Oregon
They haven't looked this good all year. They are playing much better. Michigan has had issues even in wins. Based on the recent game PERFORMANCE, we are hot, them, not so much.
