I'm willing to bet Myles does a better job on the boards than Reuvers or Potter. They were soft as hell all game. Gard is gonna be ripping them next practice. Hopefully fouls aren't a factor.
Rutgers is only a game behind Wisconsin for 5th place
Need to be a game better though since they have the tiebreaker.
I don't mind this result at all. Michigan might think we haven't skipped a beat kind of mentality, and Rutgers has to show up on Thursday. They definitely can be taken by strong man to man defense and more uptempo. Wisconsin soft zone kept Michigan in the game long enough to win that game.
For us to have a chance against Michigan, we'll have to try to speed them up. Different presses, quick double teams and recovers, mix up man and different zone defenses, and hitting the defensive boards. Get them out of their comfort zone. On offense, gotta hit shots, especially jumpers since they have size on us. Everyone will need to play his best game of the year. I think it'll be a fun game to watch, regardless of the outcome.
Give them credit due to the fact that they had no team practice for 2 weeks and shook off the rust to win on the road convincingly. Hope their next game is a trap game as they look forward to playing their arch-rivals.

i think they are the best team in the BIG. Their offense is impressive.
I think we’re kind of a trap game for Michigan. Second game back, sandwiched between their trip to Wisconsin today and a trip to Ohio State three days later. If Myles can stay out of foul trouble and we can make it an ugly game, we might be able to grind one out.
Michigan is outstanding. They struggled being down 12 at the half but they put it on Wisconsin on the road in the second half doubling their score by 40-20 and won by 8. They moved their defense and really went after Wisconsin.
That second half defense by Michigan was suffocating. They got up on Wisconsin and are faster and more athletic and except for Davis , the frosh on Wisconsin and their most athletic guy , everybody else struggled. Their length affects teams. We were affected last year by it. But we are much more athletic than Wisconsin and can play offensively and defensively if we move the ball and attack the basket and play inside out and hit our kick outs. We also have to bring one of our great defensive performances from last year. All things we are capable of and we are due for a complete performance .
Michigan hasn't played in 3 weeks and still wins on the road against a ranked Wisconsin team.Great talent,outstanding coaching and terrific recruiting places Michigan once again as a top tier basketball program.Rutgers had two games against Michigan at the RAC and MSG last season which were losses and a precursor to what is happening this season with a predicted number 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament right now.Rutgers will need one of their best offensive games of the season to defeat Michigan and if that happens ,a top 20 ranking should be the result.
