its amazing how many teams are great looks at shots with under 4 seconds inbounding at the other end. Tennessee got a great look that didnt go down earlier today. I think a couple days ago there was a school that got a pass to the top of key and just missed with 1.1

this is when coaching and practice comes into play...along with luck

This has been an incredible tournament so far.

lots of different stories and we have not even got to UMBC part deux yet. Hoping for UMBC and Nevada to pull wins tomorrow

Teams like Michigan and Kansas may not have looked particularly sharp yet in the tourney but you get no style points, its simply about survive and advance

Wow. March madness at its best. If unc wins tomorrow Michigan unc game is a final 4 game in sweet 16. Again if Wagner comes back and he should, and with the recrurimg class they have this is a top 5 squad.

I'm sure rick pitino did. Good point. Was thinking about that when the inbound occurred.

Looked to me like the guy who caught the inbounds passed then proceeded to travel. But what a shot! Feel so bad for Gray's little brother.

Can't believe Wagner is only a junior seems like he has been there eight years already.

How do you not guard the inbound pass here? He couldn’t run the base line. Step one of these plays is make a clean pass to mid court. Don’t allow a clean pass by putting someone on the baseline to guard the inbound pass

Crazy. It was defended well too

NOoooooooooooooooooo it wasn't! Awful D. You make the guard go the ball and change directions that takes time.

First pass was to almost half court.

Having said that John Beilien is the best X and O'x coach in the country. Aways has been.

Agreed, it was idiotic to not have someone on the inbound passer. I was moreso saying the shot itself was defended well and suchhh a tough shot

It often seems that a team that goes all the way has a game where they have to escape with a win earlier on...the wife and I picked Michigan to win it all...... I will say that there are several other teams that look much better right now....but sometimes that all falls apart when meeting head to head.

The team that ultimately wins it all has a couple of close calls.

Not only do you cover the damn man throwing the ball in....you get a big kid to make the pass have ARC so there is that extra 0.2 to react and defend

I have Michigan going all the way too. Guards control the NCAA tournament and when your guards can dictate the style of play that team is going to be successful. That is what makes Michigan so dangerous in addition to Beilein being an incredible coach (although there are times where I think he overcoaches).

Loyala-Chicago does an incredible job of dictating pace too. What I find fascinating about them is how hard they run their offense even though they almost always run off 20-25 sec Nds before taking a shot, it really keeps the defense on their heels.
