26-5! Big10 championship game! 2 seed in the tournament! Go Hawks!!
ugly but they persevered, great win
This team is ahead of schedule with their youth.
5 of the 7 top players are frosh and soph.
Yes, even if we lose to UCLA.
I actually got home, turned it on and thought 'I hope this isnt a rerun'. Then I saw the floor.
It's not normal for you to even entertain that thought. Self-Examine please.
Officials let them bang and we never backed down. My kind of basketball. Play the game how the refs are calling it. Exactly what we did.
That was wrapped up yesterday.
Sofilkanich is one whiny effing b**** for having 4 points and 5 fouls
The more I see of Chit-Chat, the more I like her. Seems like a great kid. Glad she's a Hawkeye.
Iowa out scored Michigan 44-15 in their two 4th quarters this year
I love watching Lisa interview the Iowa players, beaming with pride
Easy 17 point win.
Stremlow is something else. She can get a lil sloppy but her hustle and flair compensates quite nicely.

Michigan averaged 80+ points a game and Iowa shut them down to 44 in meeting one. Next time up lets do better and allow only 42! Defense, defense, defense!
She and Stremlow are the dynamic duo out there on the perimeter.
Iowa will now have played in the B1G championship game 5 of the last 6 conference tournaments. Shock the world tomorrow!
I remember last offseason when we kept getting passed up by all these big names in the portal, and then brought in Chit Chat and didn’t have much info besides some tape.
Man, that could not have been a better fit for Jan and the team. I wouldn’t trade her for anyone.
Olivia Olsen against Kylie today 5/15 for 10 points
86 total points against us. That's crazy.
11 points
3-5 beyond the arc including that dagger
6 rebounds
6 assists
That's a great line.
A poster in the lounge said in yesterdays Michigan game one of the officials went up to the Michigan coach and said Sofikanich is a psycho.
StrateegeryTheir legs were more fresh than michigans at the end bc Jan sat them last night
Beautiful Q1. Beautiful Q4.
God bless these gals. Keep fighting!

Btw we are SO fortunate to have landed Chit Chat. Love her! Glad she is back next year.
And...just a sophomore who wasn't in the starting lineup until McCabe went out. Stellar season for #1. She is a real fire cracker out there.
I really like how Iowa is looking next year too.
In that case ... Journey's little bye-bye is even more delicious.
Meant to post this after the sequence of plays:
Stuelke layup, assis by Stremlow
Turnovers Michigan
3 pointer by Chit Chat
To put us up 45-38.
I sat back and knew the game was over after that.
